Favorite Point and Shoot Camera as of now!
Really great point and shoot with a focal length that takes great selfies! I love that it’s just wide enough to capture selfies at arms length and the Intelligent (auto) works perfectly, especially when letting others take pictures of me or friends. I personally haven’t used it for vlogging too much but the sound it captures and FPS are fine.Pros:- good battery life (shooting all day or over a couple days without charging- love the smooth skin option! My skin has been breaking out like crazy but the smooth effect gave me confidence again- focal length again!! 18mm is usually what most kit lenses are on DSLRs so I appreciated the wider length with limited distortion- makes taking pictures with friends easy with the screen pulled out and everyone can get in the photo with the focal length- super light and portable! I just slip it into my jacket pocket or purse!Cons:- The UI takes a little getting used to. Coming from Canon/Fuji, I’m still learning from Youtube videos and the manual- Depending on your settings, some functions may not be usable. For example, if you aren’t in Single Shooting mode, you can’t use the face smoothing effect. Intelligent mode is essentially Auto which also means autoWB!- The focusing could be better. Check for sharpness before you capture your pics! Didn’t have a problem with the focus for recording video there so that’s actually a plus there

Good for vlog
I’m satisfied with it. The colors are beautiful, and the camera has a great vibe. Speed is good, it is worth to purchase it. Little bit hard to use at first time, you need to look up how to use it. Easy to carry, you can adjust brightness

ZV-1 II - Minor Tweaks To The Original ZV1
I am a Fashion and Beauty Content Creator who purchased the original ZV-1 (24-70mm lens) in 2020. It served me well but I wanted a true touch screen rather than having to press menu buttons to make setting changes. Slow roll to 2023 and here comes the Sony ZV-1 II Vlog Camera. This review is my personal experience of this camera as a fashion and beauty content creator and not trying to a do a deep dive tech review.Sony updated the lens of the ZV1-II to an ultra-wide 18-50mm lens. This is better for vloggers who want to get more of their background in their scenes. This version finally has a true touch screen. The ZV1-II audio has improved. Sony added the ability to choose the direction of the sound recording based upon where the sound is coming from: front, rear and or directions.Sony also changed the weirdness of the original ZV-1's battery door that was BLOCKED when a tripod was attached by moving the ZV1-II'S tripod mount to the SIDE. It looks awkward but solves the problem.I use this camera to livestream. Livestreaming is more convenient with the ZV1-II thanks to the addition of the USB-C port. When I connect the camera to my computer, the ZV1-II is detected without having to fumble through menu settings. The CONSIn the ZV-1 II, Sony TOOK AWAY Optical Steadyshot which could equate to bouncy vlog shots.Sony did NOT include a USC-C cable with this camera. Come on, Sony! This should have been included. There is also no charger AC charger block.Overall, this IS a great camera but if you own the original ZV-1, decide if the changes are enough to justify the increased price tag.

Great so far, but NO CHARGER INCLUDED?? (Update)
No other complaints besides the fact you can't use it unless you already have a USB C charger ready. If I'm paying almost a grand for this camera, the least they could do is include a brick and cable.Update: I'm still mad there's no cable, but after using this for so long it's really a good camera. Came in handy so many times. It really does take beautiful photos, definitely watch some tips in photography if this is your first time owning a camera and you'll get the hang of it

Not a great street camera
Was looking for a travel / street camera/video camera . Something smaller then my other cameras . But what a disappointment. The sharpness of his camera equals of a iphone . In fact for in certain lighting situations the iphone gave a sharper image. Video tracking was just ok . Definitely way over price for the image that delivers. So unless your in a studio set up for making videos . A controlled room set up , pass on this . Ended up with a canon 50 . I cannot recommend any one this cam . Especially for its price point . Lets hope sonys new cam with global shutter camera coming out next year doesn’t disappoint .

Look for other options
I gave the Sony ZV-1 II camera two chances, but unfortunately, it just didn't meet my expectations either time. For still photos, the image quality consistently fell short, leaving much to be desired. While the video capabilities were decent, the audio quality was a significant letdown, failing to capture clear and crisp sound.Given my experience, I would highly recommend looking into Canon cameras as an alternative. They tend to offer a more well-rounded performance for both stills and video, with better audio capabilities right out of the box. The Sony ZV-1 II might be positioned as a vlogging camera, but for overall performance, there are better options on the market.
