This digital microscope is very useful for a number of reasons like, reading tiny print, inspecting things at a magnified level, research, school projects or anything needed to magnify in general.I included a video which I magnified letters on a page and the box it came in.Installing the device and app is so easy!simply connect the cord from the microscope to your phone's charging port it should Download and install the app automatically.Then You then follow the prompts that display to give the app permissions and you're connected. You are also given the option to automatically launch the app whenever the microscope is connected. That is it. Almost the entire installation process except for allowing permissions to your device is done automatically and the microscope is ready to use. Just make sure you remove the lens cap. You may have to rotate the knob to find the optimum focus point, especially if things look dark or fuzzy.This is very educational and fun at the same time. It can scan items in real time, or snap photos and record videos. It is very versatile.The product description lists the magnification as 50X-1600X. The app also has a button that changes magnification from 1X to 1.5X and 2.X, although the view through my phone shows the magnification to be much greater than that.It is inexpensive and has a good app.this device does do a fairly impressive job of magnifying anything placed in front of its lens. I'm sure i will find a number of situations where I will be able to use its capabilities, especially connected to an iPad etc.A+ and highly recommending to buy.

It was my mistake that my phone , a Moto G5+ does not have a `C` adapter (it uses a micro usb) .So even though the unit looks nice and should do what I need , I can not connect it to my phone .Sadly at the cost it is not worth sending back . I can not rate it because it only claims you need an android 6 or higher for it to function (plus I dont know what connecter my phone had) .I was able to download the app with ease and no issues happened ,except I cann`t plug it into my phone .... Needless to say I am not very happy about this .I am looking for an adaptor ,but still have not found 1 ....I guess when I do get a new phone it should work ...I hope ....OK I just received the adapters I purchased to find out if they would work with my Moto G5+ .I`m very happy to say both the adapter and Microscope work very well . So I can recommend thisMicroscope to anyone who would like an inexpensive tool to use for fun and play .For the price you pay the image is good ,clear and helps me finding the angle for my knives that get sharpened with a fixed angle sharpener .Having bad eyes this tool really helps ALOT .I also would like to say many thanks to the maker/seller of these as they read my review and messaged me ,offering to refund my purchase .THIS was very very nice of them . For me that`s a first from Amazon .The seller even offered 2 times which surprised me as I had written that the mistake was mine .So ,THANK VERY much .All in all this is a great purchase for what you pay . It`s not the `best` but does a good job and it`s value far surpasses the price you pay .The adapter works perfectly and I`m super happy I can now use the microscope .... I keep a variety of microscopes around due to working in a lab setting and also for my own curiosity.This plugs directly into a smartphone or tablet which means no need to charge a battery. Big plus. Just got to take care of the cord so you do not get a short in it.The light at its highest setting is a bit bright compared to the wireless microscope I have in this class of scopes. The resolution isn’t the best but it’s what you get for the price.Use the stand that comes with it so you can get clear, unblurred photos.Great for kids and for exploring for the first time.

Decent product rate price it does what you needed to do no complaints. And it's lasted me over a year still good

For the price, I wasn't expecting much. If you go in expecting a lab quality microscope, you will be disappointed some. However, if you go in expecting a cheap little microscope, you are going to be very pleased. First thing to know, you can't focus at a specific zoom level. (or at least I can't) You will have a low zoom area on the adjustment that's clear and then usually a high zoom area that's clear. The image is clear and clean when you get the zoom correct, and the zoom is pretty impressive for the price. Once you install the free app on your phone, just plug in the scope and have fun. It says it only works with Android and iPhone, but if you have a Type C input on your PC or a type C to USB adapter, you can install the app with Bluestacks and run it on your PC. You really can't beat this little thing for the price.

I love my microscope, have purchased two now after using one so much I broke the cable. I love seeing the tiny world around us. This is perfect for kids to play with, school projects, just for fun. Great value for the money. Also great for checking skin issues.Connects easy to app, capture pictures of videos.

It took a while to decide on which mini microscope to purchase. I decided on this one because of good reviews rating, features, and specifically in the description it states in words and picture, that it does not require wifi to work. I just downloaded the app, connected my Samsung, the light on the scope turned on, stayed on, the app opened and it won't work unless I connect to wifi.I came back to Amazon to make sure I didn't screw up and order the wrong one. I read thru the description again and it states, does not require wifi. . That is a lie. The app won't do anything unless I give access to wifi. I'm not happy about all the time I wasted in selecting this product and waiting to receive it only to find out it does require wifi to function. Angry face 🤬
