Not West Elm, but a good alternatice
I have A LOT of the West Elm Mid Century pieces. I needed a couple more end tables for my family room, but didn’t want to fork out $399 each. Enter these tables. I was a bit worried after reading reviews. Would the color be too orange? Would the difference be too obvious? I am happy to say, for the price and how I am going to use them, I am happy. Are they West Elm quality? No. These are a veneered MDF product. Are they an exact copy of the West Elm tables? They are close. The legs are a little thicker and they are one drawer instead of two. But eah. For a third of the price, I’m good. The drawers have a nice soft close. A bonus. The finish work on the faux drawer isn’t great—splinters. One of the two I purchased arrived with a little bashed in edge at the back, but I am in the middle of a move and don’t have the energy to exchange it. I should exchange, but honestly, for the price, it isn’t that noticeable. I will put a coaster or lamp where the issue is. It is pretty small. Now for the color. I was worried when I purchased. The veneer is a bit warmer (more orange) than the West Elm. But it isn’t horrible. I put them side by side for comparison. But in real life I would I would never put these pieces side by side in the house. So I am good. Again, I am saving a lot of money! The West Elm pieces I own are going where guests will be. These tables will be in my family room where we will probably use and abuse them. :) So I am pleased with the purchase and price! And for the record…in the photo, the real West Elm is on the left. This product is on the right.

Good units, match our Crosley bought bed frame.
Nice units with good price point. Don’t necessarily have to have the Crosley bed frame to make them work if you’re looking for quality & style is appealing to one's tastes..Color for us matched and feels well built with wood material rather than compressed chip board.. If I had a complaint, it would be to have had two separate drawers rather than one over size drawer that simulates two drawers, cuz if you overfill the one it may tip over:)

Beautiful, Strong, Heavy Real Wood Quality
This item came in perfect condition, very well packed. It has no flaws, is very solid and took literally 5 minutes to put the legs on it. The only negative is, as others have mentioned, the stain does have a strong kind of chemical smell. Concerns me a bit, but I have left the drawer open to air out with one of those moisture remover bags for four days now and the smell is almost completely gone. Overall, this furniture piece is surprisingly heavy and appears to be solid oak on the legs and solid wood on the base (though I believe a cheaper kind of wood, but mostly NO veneer! Hard to find stuff that doesn't just use mdf or particle board and put a cheap veneer on it (I'm looking at you Ikea). Overall great, quality find!

Mine came with free hand prints and bad wood stain
Not so much bad quality as much as bad quality control. The surface is rough on the table top as if it wasn't properly sanded before staining, there's a fuzzy wood feeling to the table top.The wood stain suffers as a result of the poor sanding and has several large splotches of uneven stain that make the whole thing look like cheap trash. It's pretty much preassembled and awkward to ship back so I'll probably just deal with it, but I'm disappointed and probably will not purchase this brand again. The tables are sturdy but seeing as how these are meant to be decorative nightstands they miss the mark in the aesthetic department because they look like I bought them second hand right out of the box. To add to the disappointment, I bought two of them and one has a lighter wood stain than the other. The Crosley brands contact us page leads to a 404 error so I'm sharing this here.

The drawers wreak of formeldhyde & came with a few dings
UPDATE #4: 13 months in and smell is still there. :0( I am going to try and put baking soda in the drawers to see if that helps in any way.UPDATE #3: 5 months in and the drawers still stink. I really hate to put anything in the drawers because I'm not sure what the off-gassing is doing the the stuff in there. WOULD NOT BUY THESE AGAINUPDATE #2: A month in, they still smell like death every time I open the drawers. I've even taken the drawers outside to air out and it's still bad. This is actually concerning to me. What chemicals am I being exposed to?UPDATE: Two weeks in and they drawers still smell so terrible. This amount of off-gassing cannot be good for you. I am afraid to put anything in them because I don't know how it will affect them. (I usually keep my medicine in the drawer and I don't want it contaminated.)We just moved and have been assembling all kinds of furniture. When my husband opened these to assemble, I could smell them from the other room. It is very strong chemical smell. Once assembled it went away, but every time I opened the drawers, the strong smell comes back. Going to take outside tomorrow to hopefully let air out.Coloring: kind of orange and inconsistent.. dark around the edges and light in the center. Not my favorite.

Quality and Value
I bought 2 of these nightstands because the ones I had before were tiny, cheap, and my cat kept getting in the drawers. I wanted to upgrade to something that would last, that looks like a grown adult lives here, and that my cat couldn't get into - but that also didn't break the bank. If you're looking for sturdy, mid-century modern nightstands, these are the ones to get. Great investment. Excellent quality, very easy to assemble. The wood is heavy, smooth, matches my warm medium wood furniture well, and there are no imperfections or damage out of the packaging. Packaged very well and good quality craftsmanship. This isn't a cheap knock off. It's the real deal.
