Works great and was easy to connect to the Linear garage opener.

Whenever reaching the step in setting up my orange light chamberlain it kept beeping one long beep continuously instead of beeping five times as the programming stated it would and should. Instead it had me repeat one process three times before getting 5 beeps and still did not follow its operating function.

Worked fine for 3 weeks. Then, after trying to open the garage door, it failed and simply sounded an uninterrupted tone. No buttons worked. The tone could only be stopped by removing the battery. Tried a fresh battery, which did not fix the problem. Was able to get a refund from Amazon. BE CAUTIOUS - THE RETURN PERIOD IS ONLY 30 DAYS.I ordered a Lift Master brand name keypad and it is far more sturdy than this cheap one. It also has a 1 year warranty.

Honestly, I was surprised this worked so well right out of the gate. I was able to program two completely brand of different openers, one for a Lift Master Gate, and the second for a Overhead Door garage door opener. Even though the two openers do NOT have the same security technology, I was able to program 2 different buttons on this remote for the two different openers. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that the battery is a small CR2032 which doesn't have a lot of power, so you do need to be somewhat near the openers for it to work.

This universal controller works flawlessly and opens both of my garage door openers that were different brands and I can program each one with a different code and it worked on the first try. The directions were easy and I am extremely pleased. I highly recommend this product it even came with a battery already loaded

I have ordered both the 2 and 3 button versions of these remotes for our Homeowners Community. They were easy to program and have good range. I had no trouble connecting to both Learn Button garage doors and our community gate. The remote also connected easily to older garage doors with 12 Code Switches. I was worried when I read the reviews citing trouble programming. I experienced no problems after carefully reading the instructions. These remotes work well and are a very good value.

I was a little worried that this wouldn't work for my set up. I have two different brands of door openers (One is Genie and the other Wayne Dalton) and I was apprehensive that I would be able to make both of them work on one remote. After a couple of tries, I was successful, instructions were clear for the Genie but not the Wayne Dalton. I followed the instructions for the Genie for the Wayne Dalton opener, only change is the number of clicks to program and it worked beautifully on both remotes. I couldn't open my third stall that had the Wayne Dalton but now I can and am super happy
