Cable worked perfect, just plug and play simple and fast, video is nice and sharp, and I got what I needed to connect a computer, and all at a good price, the quality of this item is nice and sturdy, and appears to be make of high quality materials.

Cable works well, with no complaints. Package well and vacuum packed. If you do not know what this cable is, you probably should visit a Best Buy or other Electronics store, however very easy to install.. Plug and Play (A lot of items are "Plug and Pray", but this one works well with no complaints) Seems to offer good connection and is a very well priced item. The sound is equally good (as compared to Fiber) and you can run 1 cable or 2 (1 HDMI and One Fiber), or just 1 HDMI!

Cable was bought to do, just as I wanted, to convert a PC with a 'display', square connection, for a monitor, to HDMI, to fit a monitor that did not have the 'display' connection. It's a durable, thick cable, cloth sheathing, and of good length, just about 3.5 feet, long. It's doing the job it was bought for. Connections, look like gold plated, but probably shiny steel, colored. I wasn't aware this type of cable, existed, till I searched for an adaptor from Display to HDMI. Good price, too.

For everyone saying that it "didn't work", you have to make sure you are purchasing the correct cable for your needs. This is a Display Port to HDMI cable, meaning you connect the Display Port end to your output device (computer or laptop), and the HDMI end to your monitor (input). The cable only works in one direction. You can't use it to connect from an HDMI port to a Display Port. You *can* buy those kinds of cables though; just do a search for HDMI to Display Port.As for me, my (older) video card had only one HDMI port which I need for my drawing tablet (it doesn't have display port option). However, I had 4 Display ports on the card, but my new main monitor was HDMI only. Enter this cable. It works perfectly for me. Quality is good, the braided cable cover doesn't make it stiff, and the connector ends are solid. I'm actually about to order another one to connect my TV to my computer to use as a second monitor.
