The media could not be loaded. I got this for my iPhone because Joby Gorilla pods kept breaking on me. (You will need a special mount to use with your phone).This is the best mini tripod I’ve used. The legs click easily into one of three stops. This gives an even spread every time! The weight gives it a surprising amount of stability. The ball joint is amazingly smooth & locks in tight. The rubber grips on the legs & feet are superb. It’s very compact which gives it a small footprint, but also not much height. This works perfectly for what I wanted. So I have nothing bad to say about it.Its precise.It’s beautiful.& man oh man, it’s a great value!

The media could not be loaded. The all metal make-up makes it very sturdy compared to a plastic one I owned before. It has adjustable legs and durable ball head for various angles that has not gotten loose over years of use like my old plastic one. It easily fits in the side of my camera pack as it can be collapsed in a very compact manner. Wouldn’t recommend anything else!

This is easily the nicest mini tripod I've purchased for my GoPro.It's a simple, no-frills unit that is perfect as a handle or tripod. The aluminum construction gives it some weight and sturdiness that you won't get from the plastic ones.I'm always skeptical of the ball heads on tripods. I've had way too many that slip out of position after setting up the camera. The one on this tripod is one of the best I've used. It stays in place with very little effort and just has a high quality feel to it.Again, it's a basic mini tripod... but the best one you will buy for the price.

This tripod works great for both my iPhone mini and my Flip 6 that I just upgraded to. As a tripod alone, it's 5 stars. When you hold it (as suggested/directed) for moving footage, it's very hard to get good closeups because of the prong that sticks out when you open it up to turn it into a phone holder. It bumps and catches on things that are too close. If you want to use this as a hand-held rig AND a tripod, there are better options if you want to do close-up filming.

Wanted something small, sturdy, and reliable with my H4n pro. This is it! I prefer it on the medium setting as it feels the most sturdy while giving the built-in mics clearance from whatever chair or table this is on. Been using it at home, and packed it in the bag to record friend's place with this just this week - it was perfect! Probably not great for uneven surfaces. Would be comfortable using it to hold significantly more weight than I am currently.When indoors I greatly prefer this to "gorilla" type stands with articulating legs, as I can never seem to get those to work like a normal tripod. Those may seem multi-purpose, but I get really annoyed with them when I'm not using them to attach something to a railing, tree, or similar.
