Quite a good size and feels sturdy, has certainly helped maintain concentration for toothbrushing! The only downside is when it finishes emptying there are always a few grains of sand left behind, not a big deal though.

I use this for my very small grandchildren. It aids them learning patience and comes in handy when they want the same toys. It’s a great visual tool and they soon respond well to using it. The size is great for them to see clearly

The sand timer has a good appearance, and appears to be well made, however the sand was not running freely, and it could not be depended to keep accurate time. We unfortunately returned this item.

Purchased to encourage grandson to clean his teeth but also fun for other games like getting granny to stand on one leg for 2 minutes etc.I subsequently discovered that the supplier has a smaller timer especially for tooth cleaning which would take up less room on bathroom shelf but this one is nice and sturdy.
