This listing is deceptive. The item received is not at all what was pictured. What was pictured is most likely the original Dell part which they used as inspiration. What they actually shipped arrived in official looking Dell packaging, and the parts appeared to have official labeling. Great if what you want is to convince your friends that you bought directly from Dell.What was actually in the box are parts either from a different notebook, or poorly made copies. I will not install these in my system, so I cannot speak to their effectiveness.The only reason I give 2 stars is because they might actually work, if you want to risk it. But the shape and fit is too different for me to trust the part in my notebook. Your mileage may vary.In the two images I included in this review, the left part is the original from the notebook. The right part is what was shipped. The Dell original uses brown TIM (thermal interface material) - probably not that important. The cutout for the rear screw appears square on the edges and is deeper in the genuine Dell part. The other screw hole is shaped entirely differently and the shape of the bracket is deeper on the genuine Dell part -- leading me to believe this will not make suitable contact to work as designed in the notebook. The top (black) side of the Dell part also has a spot for a bit of metal padding (not sure if its intended for EMI, vibration, or chassis ground -- but it's present for a reason).This is not the correct form or fit for this application, although it may have a similar function. Mine are going back.

This works, but the quality is just a little below the OEM version for the 2023 Alienware M18 laptop. This one didn't fit as great, and the included screws were a little bit smaller (and easier to lose). But for the price... probably still pretty worth it.

I used this to install a 2nd NVME drive into my Alienware M18 laptop. OEM quality, much less than OEM price. No complaints!
