Good Purchase
this kit is a very good way to rebuild a GY6 engine on a budget, it has all the parts needed to rebuild the engine in an 80% totality, the parts are made in China yes, but the GY6 platform is all made in China and work very good and perform excellent, with the oil changes on regular intervals, it will last a very long time, this kit has everything needed to make a new engine all that's left would be the crankshaft and piston rod, this kit a bigger set so you will see a bigger difference in power, much more HP for a good price, you would want to consider changing jets or carb when this is installed to use its full potential. It is an excellent kit for a great price !

For the most part pretty good
So for starters my moped had low compression because my piston rings where bad so I got this kit and when I got it everything seems pretty good but one of the problems was the piston rings that came with the piston in this kit where completely flush with the piston and they are not supposed to be flush so I wasn't getting any compression so I ordered a piston kit from trkimal theirs was correct so I tossed it all together and after a couple minutes of riding my moped I lost all power so I looked into it and found that the rocker arms that came with it broke so if your rocker arms are bad I would just buy a different pair but overall this kit isn't too bad I used to only be able to go 30 miles a hour on my znen wolf rx50 now I can reach a little over 45 miles a hour and the acceleration is so much faster also if you don't know the torgue specs for the rocker arms it should be 14 ft-lbs and I set my rocker arm gaps to 00.3mm intake and 00.4 exhaust

Incredible Performance Upgrade
This kit worked very well on my 2010 Tao Tao pony 50, with a 50cc gy6. I had previously installed an 80cc kit on this bike and still desired a bit more power. With this kit I got it. Between the performance ignition components and what seems to be a performance camshaft. As well as the clutch weights/springs Along with the 100cc big bore of course it has a good amount more power than the 80cc kit.All parts are of extremely good quality and where packaged very well. all parts fit perfectly on my machine and I didn't have to do any modifications. Now don't expect to toss this kit in with your factory carb and start ripping. I have a aftermarket nibbi slide style carburetor and complete intake system that can supply much more air and fuel than the original carb and this kit definitely needs it to reach its full potential. But once you get it tuned in this kit is 100% worth the money.

A look inside!
I've gotten rebuild kits before and usually, they're "boxes within a box" where everything is divided up into smaller boxes in a larger shipping box. I LOVE the way this comes packaged, with everything in its own spot in the foam insert. You can see everything and it's all right there. It even comes with 2 different sets of variator weights. As far as which sets you should use, that will be determined by your carb and exhaust setup, and where your engine is making peak power.Having given this a serious once over, I made a few discoveries you might want to be aware of. I pulled out my borescope and took a look inside to see what I could see. The first set of images should be from the exhaust chamber, and the last images from the intake chamber. The final image is of a ding I found when checking the main bearing grinds. The damage to the main bearing surface looks like someone smacked it when pulling it out of the bore machine or something. No way to know for sure how it happened, but I do know its there. It's not too terribly tragic, but I will have to go over it with a Dremel tool and a fine emery/rubber polishing wheel to knock down any edge (which I could feel when I ran my fingernail over it) which would probably not be good for the engine if I ran it like that.As far as the intake and exhaust chambers, I like that the top end comes assembled, but I'm probably going to pull it apart and get inside those chambers as best I can and see if I can't polish out some of the burrs and ridges. If this engine can be polished up a little bit with a Dremel tool and some needle files, I think you might see some healthy gains from it, vs just "slapping it on".So, overall, I think it's a really good kit. It comes with 2 sets of variator weights which is nice depending on your final setup. Of course, there's no guarantee that the 2 sets of included weights will be perfect for you, but at least you have something that will get you close. The packaging is extremely nice and the presentation is fantastic. The little bit of damage to the main bearing surface can be polished out I'm sure, and there's probably a little work to do in the intake and exhaust chamber if you want to get the MOST out of this kit. And, if you're looking at big bore kits, I'm just going to assume that's the case.So it's overall really good, just with a little work to make it "top shelf" needed. Check your mains. A recommended buy and 4 solid stars.
