Brilliant toy

This is a really cute looking stacking set with animals painted in a lovely muted colour palette. The toy looks lovely on display and appealing to use. The wood used is FSC approved sustainable according to the abeec website but doesn't state what paint is used so I have emailed the company to find this out and will update this review when I get a reply. The box states that the toy is for 18 month plus use. The pieces would be a choking hazard with a younger child even though they might be able to use the toy for stacking (if not always getting the pieces in the "right" places). The animal heads look very cute and count as one piece. So the first short stick takes just the green crocodile head, the second stick supports one brown hexagonal piece and the brown monkey head, the third stick supports the 2 triangular yellow pieces and the yellow lion head and so on. So there are learning opportunities for naming animals, matching colours, naming and matching shapes and counting.

This is a nice toyy but came with no packaging just the label stuck to the box and it won't come off without raking the print off the box. This is a gift ruined by thoughtlessness

A Christmas present for my Great Grandaughter two beautiful educational toys

These little toys are beautiful. So well made with care and love. My little Granddaughter had fun stacking and mixing/matching with them. Lovely colours, lovely to handle and I would highly recommend them for little fingers.

Good value sturdy toy for toddlers.You get a wooden base with with 5 dowels attached, 10 stacking shapes in colours to match the animals and 5 animal faces - alligator, lion, tiger, monkey and a leopard. The shapes and animals are painted in bright colours. Little ones can learn the shapes and count as well.Cute present at a reasonable price.Hope this helps ......

I ordered this for the little ones in church and was delighted when I spotted it being played with (with great big smiles!) almost right away. It feels solid enough that you could give it to your little one and not worry when they inevitably put it in their mouth!Some of the pieces are a little small. Not dangerously so but I wouldn't leave them unattended because whilst they might not choke, they could get them stuck in their little mouths which would be an uncomfortable experience!

This is definitely on the higher end of what I’d like to pay for them. Any more than £12.99 and I’d probably not recommend them.The quality is good and the pieces are well made. The animal faces are distinct whisky being cute enough.The puzzle itself is a little short lived. Whilst it is aimed at children and not me, I don’t really get the point of it. Numbers and colour matching but I’ve seen better implementations. That said, these do nothing wrong.Our son hasn’t been that interested in it like other toys but we have found when you come back to things that can completely change.So I’d still say this is a decent buy, if you want this sort of puzzle in particular
