Blunt End Safety Scissor, Straight Dressing Scissors

My eyelashes and eyebrows grow vigorously, get tangled together, and can even contact my eyeballs. They require trimming, but care us needed to avoid stabbing of eyeballs!These scissors have rounded tips, which makes them much safer when working near the eyes.

I suppose every house should have some of these, but I've always made do with dressmaking shears or whatever scissors are handy. But I wanted these for a one off, particular purpose which won't be relevant to anyone else! I wanted to trim a budgie's beak. Very sharp edged and blunt ended to avoid any accidents, they were just the thing. Now I have a pair of proper dressing scissors in the first aid box.

Good value round nosed scissors seem to be good quality.

These scissors are far smaller than expected, very disappointing! The actual blade size measures only 4 cms or 1.5 inches. Be warned before placing order!Not only that, but the two finger holes are not suitable for a mans sized fingers, much too small, so you cannot get your thumb in it.Missed cut-off date for Return, otherwise would have sent back.

Pleased to have found these scissors, they are just what I wanted at a sensible price. Perfect size for minor first aid use and they have a smooth cutting action. Good service from the seller too, with quick delivery and well packaged.

I purchased these scissors on behalf of a close relative who unfortunately now suffers from Alzheimer's dementia and who lives in a local care home. My relative is still able to enjoy and benefit from cutting pictures from magazines and papers and for other artistic activities. The rules at the care home do not allow residents to have sharp pointed scissors, for obvious reasons. After consideration, the care home management have accepted your scissors as suitable for use by my relative.
