very accurate, very pleased with it.
It set itself to the correct time within an hour. It is a very smart and attractive clock. It is a little smaller than my previous radio controlled clocks, but it is a more appropriate size and it looks lovely on my sitting room wall, I chose the bamboo effect clock and am very pleased with it. It makes life so much simpler and it is clear enough for this 80 year old to read from across the room. I am thinking of buying another for the bedroom but am hoping that they will make the same clock with frames of different pretty colours, perhaps pastel blue and green - even pink!

Automatic setting and adjustments
I have a few similar clocks in my home, only one of which has the same radio-controlled settings and accuracy (no adjusting for BST/GMT). This Youshiko version is slightly smaller and has thinner numerals but is no harder to read. Time is 12 or 24 hr and includes seconds. shows accurate temperature in F or C, phases of the moon plus the day and date and can be used as an alarm if required.I purchased this as the bamboo surround fits in well with the decore in one of the bedrooms and I have mounted on the wall although it does have an integral stand in the back. Takes two AA batteries (not supplied). A lovely item, am tempted to buy another!

Timeâs on Your Side: Youshiko Radio Controlled Wall Clock
First Impressions:I grabbed the Youshiko Radio Controlled Wall Clock for the bathroom, mostly in an attempt to get my girlfriend moving faster (itâs a work in progress!). Right out of the box, the clock looks sleek and modern with a minimal design. The quality feels solid, and the large numbers make it easy to read, even from a distance or when youâre squinting in the morning.Design and Build Quality:This clock has a nice, simple design that fits well in any room â especially the bathroom. Itâs lightweight but feels sturdy, and the numbers are large and clear. The radio-controlled feature is a nice bonus; it automatically sets the time based on the atomic clock signal, so no need to worry about adjusting it every time the power goes out. Plus, it runs on batteries, which means no wires hanging around.Ease of Use:Setting up the clock was a breeze. You just pop in the batteries, hang it on the wall, and it syncs with the radio signal. It adjusts the time by itself, so thereâs no fiddling with buttons or trying to set it manually. The numbers are big and easy to read, making it perfect for quick glances when you're rushing around.Performance:The radio-controlled function works great â within a couple of minutes, the clock syncs up with the atomic clock, and the time is always spot on. I havenât had any issues with it losing signal or drifting off time. Itâs been super reliable, so no need to manually adjust the time ever again. As for getting my girlfriend to move faster, well, thatâs still a work in progress, but the clock definitely helps keep track of the time!Value for Money:For the price, this is a solid wall clock. Itâs accurate, reliable, and hassle-free thanks to the radio-controlled feature. Itâs a great buy if youâre tired of setting clocks yourself and just want something that works. Plus, itâs not over-the-top expensive.Pros:Easy to set up â just hang and forgetRadio-controlled feature keeps the time accurate without any effortClear, large numbers that are easy to readSleek design that fits well in any room, especially the bathroomNo wires or cords to worry aboutCons:Could be a bit too basic if you're looking for a clock with more features (like temperature display or alarm)Doesnât come with a wall mount (youâll need to use your own hook or nails)Final Thoughts:The Youshiko Radio Controlled Wall Clock is a solid, no-fuss clock that does its job perfectly. Itâs easy to set up, always accurate, and looks great on the wall. While it hasnât magically sped up my girlfriendâs morning routine, itâs been a great addition to the bathroom and helps keep track of time without any extra hassle.Rating:âââââ (4/5 stars) â Reliable, accurate, and perfect for keeping time in a no-fuss way!

Perfect
Great size, build quality, design and very readable LCD digits.Temperature accurate, auto update works perfectly if you position it where it can see a signal. One thing missing is a backlight, but that would only really matter if using it in a dark room. I use it as living room clock, like on a mantlepiece. You could also wall mount it as it has that option. I thought the bamboo version looked best as the black one looks severe and huge and the white one may discolour with time (as white plastic typically reacts to UV light).

Looks good
Firstly batteries are NOT included, so have 2 AA's ready, minimal packaging but secure enough, once opened and viewed the wood effect is thin section of a light pine colour (varnished) plywood, but it looks good enough to hang on a wall for decoration as well as function. The screen is big enough to read clearly, the digits are not in a bold font but can be seen. If you've read the description the auto time set up only takes minutes from power up so long as you have no interference to the signal, and it has no backlight for the display, take note. Overall, replacing a tired analogue one with this, đđ

Good, not particularly cheap and quite thick, but is useful and I'm happy with it overall.
I like this clock, it is a good size and was easy to set up - I just put a battery in it, and then put it on the wall, and it set itself up via a radio signal. I like that it gives a readout of the time, day and date (as my stupid brain often seems to forget the day) and even the moon cycle, which honestly is pointless to me but I'm a big nerd and more information is always good information in my book!It would be nice if it had a button on the front you could press to see a backlight, or an automated backlight option for when it gets dark. Therefore there aren't any brightness options as it's just an LCD. I don't use it in my bedroom, so would be nice to have that option. It being an LCD means that the viewing angles of it aren't amazing and works best when you can look at it head on.I haven't used the alarm, so cannot comment on the sound level or how annoying it is!I tested the temperature function by putting it in the fridge for a minute, and the temperature did drop, so I can confirm that it isn't getting that information via a radio signal, but from a local temperature sensor in the unit.I have hung it from my wall, and like the wood effect front, but it is quite a chunky unit being about an inch thick, so would be nicer if the wood effect were all round it as the white plastic on all other parts are very visible and does detract a bit from it's aesthetics.Overall I'm happy with it, but had it been less expensive, less chonky, or with wood effect all over I would have given it more stars.
