An excellent PC for everyday use. What is not to like.
This is the third of these I have purchased, albeit from 3 different suppliers. The first being for myself (nearly three years ago) and another two for clients. They work straight out of the box so if you do not know how to set up a user profile no problem simply use the default Admin Profile. If you are into gaming, I would suggest getting something more powerful with a dedicated Gforce graphics card. But for general computing, Word, Excel, emails, surfing the internet etc. This PC is more than capable. What I particularly like are the number of display ports. 2 in total, and by combining these with the VGA output, you can use up to 3 monitors at a time. Useful if cutting and pasting, from one thing to another, or comparing documents, internet pages etc. or simply having several applications open and visible at the same time.It did say that it came with virus protection, however the one I most recently purchased did not. However it did arrive preloaded with VLC player and "Openoffice". (Useful if you do not have a Microsoft subscription). I was not bothered about the Virus protection, as I would have removed it and installed a trusted brand such as McAfee or Norton, or simply use the Windows protection. I cannot comment on the technical support, as I didn't use it hence the 3-star rating. Mine came with a wireless dongle. I do not know how good this is, but previous experience would suggest not that good, unless close to the router. So, if you need to use the PC on a wireless network it would probably be wise to invest £10 in a slightly better one, if you find the one supplied too weak. All three I have installed have been connected to the routers by an ethernet cable, so this has not been an issue. If you already have a keyboard mouse monitor, and connection cables, and are not bothered about a few scuffs on the case this PC represents excellent value for the price. At around a hundred quid (I paid £99) with a 12 month guarantee what is there not to like.Sorry about the messy desk in the picture, it's just to demonstrate the monitor capability. I know where everything is. Honestly.

Perfect
I read the reviews and due to some very negative comments I was a little reluctant to buy. The price was so good however that I took a chance and couldn't be more pleased I did. The machine is exactly as described in terms of spec, and both inside and out it looks like new, no marks or dirt or dust to be found. The SSD is properly secured inside, and no issues with the WiFi dongle at all so far, unlike some of the other reviews state. It runs perfectly, nice and quick, and is outstanding value for money. Mine was supplied by Tech Citi (MCR).

Worth the money, BUT.....
HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF Quad Core i5-4570 3.20GHz 8GB 256GB SSD DVDRW WiFi Windows 10 Professional Desktop PC Computer (Renewed) sold by NH Trading NW , June 21TLDR - Product as advertised, worth the money, but as with any old, "reconditioned" hardware you need to be comfortable with booting to DOS and updating firmware, not just for optimal performance but also to address serious security flaws. The machine arrived well packaged, no obvious damage and generally as described and your getting a decent amount of computing power for the money. The Wifi dongle works but it is slow and has very limited range. The SSD isn't the fastest and a web search for the model raises a few questions around reliability and consistency. (Also, on my example, there are two slots for internal 3.5 inch drives, but the custom carriages are missing, presumably still attached to the original disks.) The Windows product key was stuck on the PSU inside the machine. The biggest issues are security. On startup the machine logged straight in to an Administrator Account with NO PASSWORD protection. If yours does this you need to fix this immediately. The motherboard in a G800 can date back to 2014 and during their lifetime serious security vulnerabilities have been discovered in chipsets of this vintage that require firmware updates to fix. The machine I received hadn't received a BIOS or ME firmware update since it left the factory. For G800's You can find extensive documentation and updated firmware on HP's website, but even armed with the model numbers and product codes there have been so many variants over the years finding the right binary/driver files for your particular machine will requrie some care and insight.

Marks and scratches to case visible from more than 30cm away - Better quality control required.
The PC was received promptly. It was very clean inside and the SSD was installed properly rather than by cable ties (as seems to be the case with many other sellers). However, I cannot give the seller or product 5 stars as there are scratches to the top of the case and to the left side and front of the black plastic front bezel which are clearly visible form more than 30cm away. The description promises that there will be no marks of this nature. Under normal circumstances I would send it back for a replacement as it is not as described but the item is a gift and I have no time to do this before I hand it over. I have instead had to dismantle it, rub it down, prime and paint it myself.Quite frankly I have better things to do and better quality control on the part of the seller could avoid issues like this.
