A great fun drum
Would highly recommend this product. Great fun to play and visually pleasing to our wee one. Very robust. Drum has taken a severe pounding and lived to tell the tale. Wee one absolutely loves playing with this and keeps him occupied for ages.

Fun, loud, pricey
So after being harassed by my 2 year old son to buy him a drum as he is now into musical items thanks to Blippi, I finally settled with this one.Pros- I find the drum kit helps in developing a sense of rhythm.- Made from wood, the kit is sturdy and can withstand the rough handling. Infant with the way my son plays (he thinks he is a rock star) it should have been broken by now.- I actually love the design, which is what attracted me to it as it is visually appealing with vibrant colors that can attract and hold a child's attention.-The kit is designed with rounded edges to ensure it is safe for toddlers to use.Cons- Despite it being a quite basic sound and not as authentic sound like as I would expect, it's very loud when energy is put into it.- You can only do so much on it as its musical capabilities are quite limited. My son is starting to get bored as he compares it to the larger snare drums.- Compared to other similar toys on the market, it is on the pricier side, especially considering its limited features and being for kids.

Be very aware ...of the drum stick chocking hazard
This was a great little drum kit ...my little one loved it ...but the drum sticks were so so dangerous they came apart leaving the ball which was a massive chocking hazard.I threw them away but kept the rest

Too many small bits that's come apart easily and unbalanced so topples over
In theory it's lovely. The build materials are lovely quality but it's let down by 2 massive design flaws.Firstly the fact that it comes.apart quite easily, meaning there are small parts that are choking hazards readily available to little mouths.The second big one is the frustrating fact that it topples over repeatedly because it's top heavy. So where the symbols are is way heavier so if the child puts weight on the back by leaning over, as my little one seems to do repeatedly, it just falls over, with him on top. It needs a third supporting leg towards the back of the unit in the centre to stop this happening. Otherwise it's kind of dangerous and not fit for purpose.Returning ours.
