I have very wavy, frizzy red hair. This product is wonderful to use with flat iron to straighten my hair.

Best heat shield for hair straighteners. I have used it with my flat iron and with my Dyson air straight.

This is not the formula I remember. I am looking for a heat protectant that isn't sticky like hair spray. I used to get this exact thing from our local TJMaxx. I haven't seem it there lately and figured it would be safe to order here. Nope, not the same thing. UGH

I have fairly thick hair, but it's fine, so I like this product. If I use it too heavily, yes, my hair will stick together, so I recommend not over spraying the product. First I section my hair into layers and start at the back of my neck. I just lightly spray the area that needs a lift and then section and comb the piece I want to use hot iron on - sometimes I just use my round bristle brush and the hair dryer. It puts in body and leaves my hair feeling bouncy and shiny. I remember first time I used it - and I used it on every section of my hair. Wow! My husband even noticed and commented how about my hair felt different - in a good way! I might add that I try to rinse off the nozzle in warm water before putting it away, because, just like hairspray, it might start to clog and not spray correctly. And, if that happens, just prop it up in a glass of warm water (upside down) and come back after awhile and clean off the sticky stuff.

I recently got introduced to RUSK hair products, the thermal serum & the shine spray, I loved them so I decided to try the flat iron spray. Do not love this product. It's like hairspray. I sprayed it on and my hair was stiff as a board after I ran the flat iron over? when you brush it out it feels like you had a bunch of hairspray in it, it feels dirty.
