Not good at all, even with professional installation
Terrible product. I professionally use 2 of these in a row. You are better off buying a whole compressor:

Would work on a compressor that's a few years old or less.
This replacement clutch would work best on a compressor that is no more than three or four years old. Trying to remove the old clutch is a bear! If your clutch is older like mine (22 yrs old, lol), buy a new AC compressor! It's well made and did work just like it should. But, When removing the old seized clutch, I damaged the bearing to the compressor main shaft. And was using a puller. Or if you have time, spray your old clutch with penetration oil for a week or so.

Perfect fit
The clutch on my compressor was bad and this fixed it perfectly. It needs to be installed by a professional because it is a difficult task. I am a mechanic so it wasn't as hard.

Arrived quickly, fit perfectly and way less expensive than the parts stores
The engagement coil developed a short that blew the fuse for the compressor clutch, which subsequently locked up the drive pulley and broke the drive belt. The compressor was not locked up or leaking so I decided to just change the clutch and components. My local parts store would have to order the parts and they would have been about twice as expensive as this kit. The hardest part of the repair was removing and installing the retainer clips on the pulley and coil. The new parts were very nicely made and fit perfectly, after installing the new belt the a/c works great. I only gave it 4 stars because it was just installed and I’ve yet to see how it will hold up. Otherwise I’m happy with the product.

Save yourself the pain of replacing the compressor.
The old one came off easy, this went on in minutes and works great. No replacing Freon, bolt it on, slip the belt on and done.
