Keep it at opperating temperature.
This is what i want i may drill a small steam hole in it,it is now on a 1961 small block chevy that turns 6500/8000 RPM it may get hot,i think this will help keep it close to 180 degrees like it should using 4 core radiator.

NOT for a 351 Cleveland
UPDATE: Amazon says this will fit and yes it does fit but this is not the correct thermostat for the Ford 351 Cleveland V8. I was having coolant/bubbling issues and finally discovered that is thermostat for the Ford 351 Windsor V8 and that the Cleveland takes a special thermostat(see photo explanation) This is still a quality product just not the right product for my engine.Original review:This fit and works perfectly in my 1972 Gran Torino with a 351 Cleveland in it. Great Gates quality product.

Fits like a glove!
Fits 2001 Mustang like a glove and hasn’t done me wrong yet. Sucks i didn’t get it sooner because i had the wrong size on for almost whole winter and got water in my radiator and now everything is rusted… My fault i didn’t know im a just a teenage 23 year old girl lol

Bad Product!! Waste of Money!!
