Works great after careful assembly
Great little device, really quite fun and functional. However, know the parts are plastic (easily broken) and require careful assembly using enclosed instructions. I recommend using a little vaseline or whatever to aid in assemling tight fitting plastic parts. You could also warm the plastic in hot water but this tends to cause some expansion--not sure it would benefit some parts. As long as great care is taken with assembly it is not particularly complicated. It goes together quickly once started but you may have to ponder the illustrations a bit before jumping right in. Otherwise, great bargain for what is essentially a perpetually winding/swinging sort of functional novelty work of miniature tech art. It makes very little noise but there is a faint or muffled clock-like tick each time the pendulum swings verticle, where the magnet passes just over the electrified base. Nothing that would prevent me from sleeping even located on a bedside table...and I'm a light sleeper. But I also normally wear earplugs which eliminate the sound completely for me. I say, buy with confidence if your like me with enough patience to assemble carefully. Very well designed though naturally somewhat fragile given mostly plastic parts. The bushings or bearings are metal, work smoothly, and are pressure fitted.

Horrible quality control
Do not buy! Tested with other USB ports after it stopped working just over a month from delivery. Proprietary power cord or internal circuits failed. Great product concept. Quick cash grab execution. Repeat, do not buy!

Assembles easily and just works.
I’m hoping that this design works better than the spin style that wears out after a year or so. It assembled easily with pictorial instructions. The plastic construction is sturdy, and I don’t dock it for this. Most watch winders are vinyl covered cardboard or plastic regardless of the price point.

Inexpensive winder that works with a Seiko Kinetic watch.
This winder is very dynamic... while it's quiet, it moves the watch vigorously enough that one can hear the cam spinning inside the watch. However the dynamic nature of the winder makes it interesting to watch. However, I wouldn't recommend getting it for that reason (more on that later). Requires assembly. It's not difficult; the instructions are mostly pictures, with maybe a line or two of text for each step. Some of the plastic components feel cheap, and this is particularly obvious and worrisome during the assembly process. In all fairness, this was not an expensive purchase.I acquired this because my other winder was not adequately charging my Seiko Kinetic watch; after 2 weeks, it had only 1-7 days of charge accumulated; I used this overnight, and the next morning the watch was fully charged, reading 4-6 months of charge. I see no reason to use this continuously; it seems that one day every 3 months should be sufficient.

More than worth the money!
Absolutely love this. It's so different and unique compared to the standard circular watch box styles. It doesn't make a sound and works perfectly.

Watch motion stand
Easy set up. Good price. Should work perfect for keeping an ecco drive watch running.

Does not wind NH35 watches
I was hoping this would be a great inexpensive way of winding my automatic watches, but it simply doesn’t work. I have several watches with Seiko NH35 movements in them, I have tried most of them, the device swings, but only in a 45 degree arc. For it to wind the NH35s it needs at least a 90 degree arc. I started it at the 180 degree, but within an hour the pendulum had reduced the arc from 180 to 45. It runs for as long as I set the timer, but only at the 45. Also, I cannot visually tell the difference between the speeds of the three settings, if they are different, it is only slightly faster. If your watches are dive watches, 100% stainless steel with bracelet, I caution that this is probably not the right purchase for you.

Got it to run for a day. Cool to look at.
Revised review. The unit is cool, but the power supply needs to be 20w at 5v. Then it runs. The directions are not so great hard to understand. The button pressing does not seem to match the directions. Remains to be seen. Should include the correct power supply. Charge a bit more. Still not sure this is a good investment. It is neat to watch. Been running all day. .
