Great light bar for the price. Quite sturdy and the large number of LEDs under the frosted cover makes for a smooth transition of colors. DMX input works as expected, but also the automatic react to music feature works quite well if the music is loud enough.

-The fixture is lightweight and has solid metal housing.-The helpful frost tube cover prevents blinding light when looked at directly but still preserves the sharpness and brightness of the light colors.-56 preprogrammed modes offer endless possibilities for dance lighting chase design.-Plus a special effect mode with another 10 unique chasing programs.-It appears like a UV sound meter. As the beat drops the amount of light increases in the sound mode.-Having a rainbow of custom colors makes it easy to match colors or themes.-The ability to daisy chain fixtures using DMX is fantastic.-Also highly recommended if you want to light a dance floor with a wash light.

Using 14 of these lights in series through LightKey lighting software on a Mac. When I go to "blackout" with 0 brightness and #000000 for my color, some of the LEDs still have a faint glow in 2 of my units.

Great for the price!So far I've tested with with QLC+ and xLights with falcon controllers and it works surprisingly well.I use 36 channel mode so I can control the 12 segments individually and do cool back and forth effects on the software side.The main body is sturdy aluminum and plastic at the connector housing.There's no fans so it's quiet with less moving parts.I love the power con in and out built in for daisy chaining fixtures!If you're using xLights, this fixture does not like being the first in line for some reason.I will be ordering more to fill in spaces!
