Underpowered cannot cut anything with it
After a year with the tool, i find it useless because it has too little power to cut anything.I tried cutting old GI water pipes and failed! I tried CPVC pipes. Also failed. A branch of coconut tree fell and i tried cutting it. Failed again. I am wondering what it can cut because it is doing nothing for me.It just doesn't seem to have power to cut anything!1 year ago: It feels underpowered, it did not cut through the GI pipes I wanted to remove and replace with cpvc pipe for a project. I have ordered bimetal blade and will review the rating if those work. Another thing is the blades for this are very expensive, even more than the blade for rip saw (reciprocating saw). They are supposed to last long but we will see. I had a different brand before and it cut wood and metal easily. It is nice and light, noisy but this genre of tools usually are like that. The rotary dial for speed control feels flimsy. Overall the build quality is mediocre. I can forgive all these flaws if it just has enough power to do the job reasonably well. We'll see.
