Protect your dumbbells and your floors
Yes I know these are for dropping bumper plates when doing clean and jerks, but I use them for my home gym to protect my dumbbells and my floors. I set them up on each side of my bench and after benching to failure on a flat bench I don't have to try to sit up with them I can just drop them on the pads and save my shoulders and my back and my floors

I was shocked how strong and durable it is. Great price performance. Will last for years.

No more banging weights on floor
Perfect. Exactly what I was hoping for. Good size (bought two, one for each side of bench. Makes workout a lot easier, no more holding on to weights so they don't slam on the floor. Sturdy material, 100 pound weights handled well.

Awful for barbellsYou can’t even drop the weights from waist height without it bouncing all over the placeSpend the extra 20-50$ and get something betterPositive- smaller so it’s easier to store

These are AWESOME!!! WAY better than I thought they'd be!
Awesome, awesome, awesome barbell lifting/crash pads!!!The pictures don't lie.... SEWD made a couple of high quality barbell lifting/crash pads! All of the stitching is intact, outer surface is flawless, nicely placed sewn-on carry handles and even the zippers are top notch/work great! Not that you'd ever need to open these up, but you can. Each pad is made with multiple sheets of a thin, high density foam. Which give the pads a dual surprise of being A: very lightweight and easy to move around, and B: super high impact durablility.I'm 5'10" tall and weigh in at 205 lbs. Focusing all my weight on one leg or even purposely standing on their edge and I still couldn't get these pads to smash down. They really work! Tossed a 45 lbs plate and a 35 lbs plate on the bar for extra measure, did a few deadlifts and the pads did fantastic! Cushioned the bars impact on my floor and really deadened out the noise as well. Now, do I suggest you crank your weights up over your head like a massive animal and drop them with force power cling style down on the floor? Absolutely not. Honestly, I think that's the stupidest way to lift. Period! I'm old school. Smooth and controlled reps from start to finish. However, if you did lose your mind for a minute and try it..... I'm betting these pads would still hold up just fine.Great pads! These are another awesome find for the home gym. Glad I have them. Hope you get to enjoy a pair of them too!

So good
Lifting at home in a loft has it's pros and cons. For example, pro - being able to workout whenever you want. Con - lifting heavy causes your house to shake. I've been looking for something to soften the landing of deadlifts and these have done the trick. It helps to elevate the bar a bit too. I still can't pretend I'm super woman, but they definitely help. The covers seem pretty durable and are easy to clean. I've also used them for elevated split squats which has been great. A word of caution if you are going to stand on them is to be barefoot or wear shoes as they tend to be slippery with socks. Overall, I am extremely happy with these crash pads!

Worth the purchase!
Been using these for weeks now and I see the benefit of having them at home. I used them with bumper plates, and the bar bounced quite a bit. Switched to barbells and worked a little better with only a slight bounce. Works great with noise control, and the price for them is a good match. They're easy to move around, clean, and set.
