Practice securing your vessel to the trolley BEFORE you head out.
1 - You will read in the description for the K3, 100kg Load Capacity. In the paper work in the box it says do not exceed kayak weight capacity of 80lbs. I leave it to you to decipher what this means.2 - Yes, it will collapse, even on level tarmac. So you must take some time to learn how to strap it down so it does not collapse. Look at some youtube videos to get an idea of how you might strap it down. I like the idea of using 4 straps tied to a thwart front and back. So on each side a strap going forward and one going back.3 - The strap provided is not sufficient to prevent the collapsing. So don't expect to rush out the door with your new trolley head off to your drop off point and have a pleasant walk down to the launching point without doing point 2. You might just throw the trolley into the river, sea, lake....4 - It looks substantial enough to work. It does make it easy to transport your vessel (which is the whole point of the product). But.....I can see that on rougher ground it might be easy to tip over as the wheel base is so narrow.5 - I am confident it will all work out fine if I pay attention to the points above and work it all out before I go on my next trip. I only used it to go from my garage to house on tarmac and it collapsed twice. I need to work out point two.

Works very well.
I bought this to transport a 16ft Prospector canoe (35Kg) and it certainly does the job. The wheels roll well over fairly rough ground and because they're not hard plastic they don't make much noise. The single provided strap may be enough for a smaller canoe but for the Prospector I needed to use one of my roof-rack straps as well. For long portages over rough tracks you may want 4 straps but 2 straps are a minimum for a boat of this size over rough ground. The distance from the van to the launch site was around 200 yards of rough and gravelly dirt track but once I'd got the canoe securely strapped I hardly noticed the weight. It takes practice to get it securely strapped though, particularly when the hull is wet and slippery, and I recommend watching a few YouTube videos of how to do it and practicing somewhere quiet first - the time to practice is not in the middle of an access road to the carpark.Overall, I'm impressed. It feels very sturdy, folds down nicely and is light despite the high load rating.

Excellent item for easy kayak transportation
Great set of wheels. Well built and good value. Easy to dismantle for storage inside the kayak, and the wheels are nice and large for travelling over rough ground. Highly recommended.

Okay'ish but fiddly to use and requires fettling to get the best out of it....
Okay'ish but fiddly to use and requires fettling to get the best out of it....It's okay'ish for the price but I found it needs fettling and fiddling with to get the best out of it, and even then it's not brilliant.Out of the box you'll struggle to portage a larger SUP or even a small kayak. You'll want extra straps and definitely want to play and practice with it before using it for the first time in the wild.Prepare for disappointment, frustration and anger if you think you're going to rock up, pump up and portage without delay.....There are better trolleys available, but not at this price point. Definitely a low budget choice.

Great trailer
Easy to assemble, great, practical design and looks to be very sturdy. OK, yes, you do need a second strap in order to secure the board to the trailer and it would be ideal if that was provided but I'm guessing that most of us who have surfed/sailed have spare straps so no big deal.

It works well after a bit of practice
This kayak carrier comes with instructions for use but placing the kayak can have an effect on the stability in use. I found that having the kayak approximately 3/5ths of the way back stops the carrier from collapsing on rougher terrain.

Great for moving 15foot Prospector open canoe
Easy to assemble, sturdy and lightweight. Takes the effort out of portage. Then quick to take apart and fold when back on the water.Even includes a strap for securing the canoe to the trolley whilst in transit
