I couldn't love this dryer more!! It is PERFECT! It is lightweight, the power is good, handles easily and dries my hair quickly. I love it. The recommendation came from my hairdresser and she was 100% correct. I could not be happier. I will recommend this to all of my friends.

Awesome hairdryer
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is a great hairdryer - super light weight - drys hair fast - doesn't burn or feel hot - ton's of drying air - absolutely love it - I figured I would try it when my expensive Dyson stopped working - didn't want to spend another $500 for a hairdryer - I like this better!!

Wonderful! Quiet. Lightweight. Powerful.
I wanted a hair dryer like the one my hair stylist has, without the multiple hundreds of dollars in cost. I found it! This one is quiet, powerful (hold it tightly in your hand on the highest setting if you don’t want lifted off into space!), and the additional styling ends make it even more special. This dyer is worth every penny.

Good results but Wavy/Curly please read. Lefties beware.
Coming from an old Revlon model purchased for less than 50 bucks 7-10 yrs ago, this blow-dryer does work better faster. Im not a daily user of this and most of my self blow-drying experience is limited to just the past 2yrs when I decided to start diffusing my curls (high porosity, low density, type 3a +/-1 hair). I wanted to love this, and I DID get really good results, but I guess I had higher expectations overall. Here's my amateur review, mostly compared to my old blow-dryer:Sound level: it is quieter, but the sound is more of a loud muffled whistle (higher pitch) than the low-pitched turbine engine sound of my old one. Personally, I'll take a loud hum over a whistle, but I'm sure my family in the other bedroom appreciates the lower sound level.Heat: I never used high heat with my old dryer and I don't plan to use it on this one either. Idk why people here complained of it not getting hot enough, I think the middle heat setting is more than enough for me.Wind power: THIS is where this blowdryer definitely rises over my old one... But perhaps too much :-(. There's not that much of a variance between the wind power settings, and when I put it on the lowest setting it still feels like it's blowing too hard, which means I have to turn off the blow-dryer to reposition the diffuser into the next set of curls, otherwise it just blows them straight away during the transfer. With that said, this kind of takes away it's lower volume bonus: as family sleeping in the other room have to deal with the noise going on-off-on-off, making it harder to ignore or sleep through than a constant sound. It also feels like it undoes any anti-frizz benefits the technology of this dryer offers, as I'm sure blowing my hairs upwards just to change to the next set of curls is counterproductive. I really do wish the low setting was lower. Please keep in mind this will only be an issue for those trying to diffuse waves/curls. If you're buying this to straighten your hair (directing the wind downward from above), you won't have an issue with the straightening effects of a higher wind. -1 StarEffects and time to dry: this did dry my hair better and faster, given the much higher wind (which, I'll add also felt "cleaner") and moderately higher heat. But, the process kept getting delayed by me having to constantly turn it off and also by my ACCIDENTALLY turning it off as well as changing the settings due to button placement (more on that below). Based on reviews, I looked forward to cutting my dry time in half but only got to save a few minutes. Again, much of this issue will not apply to those trying to straighten. Results on hair: yes, my curls did come out MUCH better than the did before. They looked healthy, shiny, and the curls were tighter (a huge plus since with 3a and some 2c, I often feel like my curls aren't curly enough). They also held up for days, whereas before I could only maintain the quality of my curls on day 1. (Btw, I'll also add here that my first day using this item was also my first day of using the Love UR Curls all-in-one cream (and no other hair product with it!). Whether my good results were due to the cream or the dryer or the combination, idk. I'd love to say I'll update here after putting it to the test by trying each item individually against controls, but I'll likely want to just stick with this new routine that promises awesome results next time I dry, sorry). Despite what I mentioned earlier about feeling like the high wind was going to create extra fly aways/frizz, I didn't see as much of that as I expected. Not sure if bc I need to trust this item better, or because I remedied the issue by constantly turning off between positions. +1 Star.Design- for starters, the cord is longer than most. I personally don't need the extra length so I appreciated them attaching the Velcro strap to it to keep things neat. Someone here mentioned the Velcro being an issue while working on their hair but I didn't have this problem, and I did not find the Velcro strap slipping down the cord much while working. If you need the extra length. Great. If not. Great. Best of both worlds. This is certainly lighter than my previous and feels like a sturdier material. It does look nicer too. The straight handle is sleek, but I'd personally prefer one that feels nicer to grip. What kills me the most about this dryer, and has me contemplating a return is the button types, where they're positioned as well as where the light indicators are located. These buttons are way too easy to accidentally click. My last dryer had slide switches... They were only ever moved with intent. And you could feel in your hand exactly what position the switch was in, so there was never a question of what setting it was in. On this dryer the buttons are light, feel like a cheap material, and don't require much push to click (I do like that it does give at least give an obvious "click", but when the dryer is on and loud in your ear, you may miss this sound/sensation). I found myself accidentally changing the settings or turning it on/off way too many times. Hopefully it's just a matter of getting used to it. On top of that, the indication of settings are tiny little led lights which they placed towards the outside side of the buttons... So more towards the back of the handle than the front. Whether you're a lefty or a righty, not only are the buttons easy to hit, but you'll have to stop what you're doing to turn the dryer over to look at it. At least if it was more towards the front you'd be able to see the lights as you're working the dryer, without having to interrupt. Btw, if you're a righty like me these buttons will mostly sit around your thumb, which SHOULD make it easier to eventually get used to and not press accidentally. But if you're a lefty, I imagine these buttons will sit under the middle of your fingers when you grip the handle. I can't imagine this ever not being an issue! (See pics with L or R hold... And how you can't wait see the lights when the dryer is facing you) I'm surprised I didn't see many complaints on this. This may seem minor but it was a big design fail, as it seriously interrupts my drying operation. It has nothing to do with money, expediting production, or cutting corners, but it does tell me they didn't do much homework or trial in designing this.-1 big star or more :-(.
