I have used slippery elm bark powder many of times and this particular company and or batch that I received from Liliy of the Valley is bad. Something is really wrong with the taste, smell and color. Not to mention it hurts my stomach. I don't recommend.

Much darker and more fragrant than other brands I have tried. Unsuitable for making cosmetics. Tried to return, Amazon won't allow. Tried to get in touch with the manufacturer there's no way to contact them. Googled them, found their website, initiated a chat, forced to input email address to continue, no way to enter email. Was looking forward to using this for my dogs, cough and it’s quite disappointing when the powder just settles at the bottom and it doesn’t gel like it is supposed to.

Product is darker than it should be and takes very bitter. I wish I could return it, as I will not be using it!
