After reading the negativity I was a bit dubious, but my original broke ater 8 years of use,to be honest this after market product is as robust as the original,even better it is certainly more solid, I have used it several times today for the whole house and no dropping bits as reported by others (maybe their filter wasn't cleaned) I am very pleased with this replacement, I would highly reccomend it.

It doesn't pick up all it should. The brushes are inadequate.

Terrible - died within a year.
Died less than a year after purchase. Terrible design where the roller rim rubs against the cap, causing a huge amount of heat and eventually causing it to sieze.
