Well done filming of a classic tale.
If you prefer your Three Musketeers more serious and less comedic then I recommend both films in this two-part story. The first film sets up the tale of D'artagnan, his introduction to the musketeers and subsequent slip into political palace intrigue. You are also introduced to the story's Femme Fatale Milady de Winter Spy and Assassin for Cardinal Richelieu and her story is set up for completion in the second film.

Perfect. No notes.
Okay, one note: The actors were speaking French. Wtf? I know the book was French and there was an English version available, but dubbing a live-action film is a crime against God. Plus, the French don't go in for his low brow crap anymore, amirite? So who's it for?.......FINE, two notes: Eva Green rocks hard and is proof, in and of herself, that both Divinity & The Devil are real! As such, she's way out of Vincent Cassel's league. Just sayin...

Why Do They All Think They Can Do Better Than Dumas???
I first read The Three Musketeers when I was a kid and it has remained one of my favorite books along with the rest of the D'Artagnan romances. It has also 'inspired' a plethora of movies over the years. What I would like to know is: Why do directors, producers, & scriptwriters all think they can do a better job than Dumas, the original writer? I will die of old age before a faithful account of the book sees the screen. (But I'm not bitter). I had high hopes that this two-part version, by the FRENCH, would do right by Dumas. Wrong again. I watched part II: Milady, and much of it was like reading a new version of the book. It does capture the filth of 17th century France well enough, and it is always a treat to see Eva Green, but this newest version does violence to its characters, especially Athos. And Porthos a bisexual? So, watch the film, but don't expect it to follow the book. For me, the two-part version of the Musketeer saga directed by Dick Lester in the 1970s is the one to watch.

Good Movie, Suspect Case
Enjoyed the movie, great follow up to part one. Imported the movie and it arrived quickly. Only issue was the case and box art, it absolutely looked like a bootleg cover done with poor photoshop skills. Quality of the video could have been better, but in the end the movie played fine and that's all that matters.
