Dont get the 2gb version
2gb is not enough for these units, I should have known better. I got a different unit with 6gb and it was like night and day difference. Also if your trying to connect Hondata it wouldn't work with this unit, I don't know why it's just Bluetooth and it meets all the requirements but it didn't work. Get one with at least 6gb of RAM it's very important

Honestly had high hopes for this unit and it isnt bad but it wasnt as good as i hoped it would be..
I have an 04 Acura TL and the wiring isn't the easiest with the factory sub and amp being on a separate harness so the stupid cheap iso connector adapter for my car wouldn't allow me to use those.. so I just cut the ends off and spliced the red, black, yellow, blue and orange then used my RCAs for my sub and speakers I had from my custom harness that was in before. So for the pros, its been an upgrade from my crappy knock off china android unit I had installed before. I like that the sound is good and is adjustable through the EQ (that isn't so great but ill get into that later), it has a very responsive touch screen and has barely any lag. Also the volume knob is really nice to have and especially the smaller sized one it comes with that you can change out in case your dash kit is too tight on the edges and cant fit, which mine was so I made the switch. The wifi doesnt disconnect all the time like my idoing and others i had before did and the apps run smooth and downloads are decently fast. I got the OBD reader free as a promo deal with purchasing it on amazon and it runs great with the torque app! Highly recommend haNow for the cons... the usb wire ports and even the carplay port are made poorly. They loosely hold whatever usb you hook up to them so they fall out pretty easy. The amount of customization you can do with the new android 13 is very minimal.. only 3 types of theme choices and they all look the same and boring. To get into the factory settings the password is the usual 1234, but then anything after that you come across that needs a password is not possible to find. I've tried every password that is used in all the android systems, tried asking eonon by contacting support and never got a reply, looked through forums, google, youtube, everything! Still cant find the passwords for the theme settings or any of the others in factory settings. Also, I tried adding my own custom boot logo and after trying to get it to let me download it from my flash drive with the requirements all met, it still only lets me add them as a background which you only see when you open the screen that shows all your apps.. I just read something that says eonon doesnt let you add your own vehicle logos anymore.. I'm not sure if its true or not, but at this point I wouldnt doubt it. As for now, I have downloaded different car launchers from the play store so I can ACTUALLY customize my screen set up.So bottom line, I would recommend getting the android 12 or even 10 systems until they get 13 figured out.

This is a great radio!
So I'll start off with how nice the screen looks, colors are vivid, and the image is nice and crisp. Also, it doesn't lag like most cheap aftermarket radios do. So, while using it, the system is very responsive and snappy as it should be. As for the sound quality, its better than expected and the built in EQ is better than most others I have had in the past. This is a true android radio, a lot of aftermarket radios claim to be android receivers but only have android auto and carplay, this radio however is a true android 13 radio including the Playstore so you can download your own apps. I had no issues setting this up with my aftermarket amp and subs, nor did I have any issues hooking up my back cam, it all works as it should. So far, this has been a great radio for the price and does exactly what its supposed to and even more! Highly recommend!

did not work w/factory amp, unit is little slow, support team is ok
I am trying to give this unit a fair review.......ultimately it did not work with the factory amplifier in my 2002 Saab 9-5. Because the unit did work (for the most part) and their support was quick/tried to help - I am giving it 2/5 stars. When I did a 'table top' test of the unit it worked fine but when I hooked it up to my car the audio quality was poor. I spent a lot of time trying different configurations (low-level outputs, high-level outputs, different harnesses, different settings, various updates) but nothing seemed to make a difference. Eventually I bought a different brand android radio and it worked just fine. I'm not sure if the Eonon unit I got was a 'one off' or if there is something about the Saab factory amplifier that is not compatible with Eonon's in general.I did reach out to support and credit where it is due - they were quick to respond back to me. Support even offered to provide me with another unit at 100% discount (I had to make purchase first). While this was a nice thing to offer, I did not want to spend more time working with an Eonon unit when I had another radio that I knew worked. Additionally, I did not need an additional radio (which I'd likely end up going through the trouble of selling). I was a little disappointed they were not able to offer an ordinary refund or even Amazon credit (both would have been easier and more useful for me).

Decent Upgrade
This Eonon Android 13 Double Din Car Stereo is a decent upgrade option for older car stereos. It is easy to install and get set up. It can be a bit glitchy feeling. But Carplay always works great. Overall it worked out well for an upgrade on an older car. Definitely better and upgraded tech from where we started from!

Decent, But Could Be Better
Got this for my '04 Acura TL. Install was pretty smooth, and the touchscreen is solid with little lag. Sound is good, but the customization on Android 13 is lacking—feels limited. USB ports are loose, which is annoying. CarPlay works fine though. Definitely not perfect, but it’s usable. Would’ve probably been happier sticking with an older Android system.
