Really smart little set. The bottles are plastic, so no worries about broken glass. I acquired this kit for my 6-year-old daughter’s birthday party as an activity for her to do with her friends. With 22 small plastic bottles included, it’s ideal for a party. There are lots of items to put inside the bottles, including a lot of glitter. Therefore, make sure you have some sort of craft tray to keep all the stuff off the floor, as it can get quite messy.This is a really comprehensive kit and the kids have loads of fun making the potions. There was lots of giggling going on while they were making them. I think at one point, they wanted to turn me into a chicken!! LOLThe box doubles up as a shelf, which is really handy and is a nice way to display the potions once they have all been made at the end of the party.They included the potions in their party bags and they had so much fun making them. I would thoroughly recommend this kit.

Packaged well and everything is separated into different bags making it easy to use. Instructions are easy and simple to follow, older kids would be able to follow independently. The cardboard display box is ok but for the price would have expected something which would last longer (maybe plastic). Provides hours of fun, over a few days.

This a kit that all fits in an our gift box that is 9.5" x 6.75" x 2.25" approx.In this box is another box so you get the idea that this is smaller than it looks in the ad.You get a lot of stuff in this box and once all opened out you wont get it back in again. A common annoying theme with these types of sets. Most parts are sealed in bags.The items are all well packed and the instructions are ok. I have seen worse!The challenge to complete the tasks is about right for a 6 year old with a parent on hand. Younger than 6 would be a waste of the kit and probably a big mess.Nice kit. Give it to older kids to enable the potions to be mixed correctly. We need to keep the magic working with us!
