RYDLYMEMarine Biodegradable Descaler (4, Gallon Bottle)

Descaled 2 diesel engines and the hvac raw water circulation system on our boat. Rydlyme removed huge amounts of scale and salt water build up. Engine raw water cooling passages are now free of obstruction and flow sea water more freely. Just as good as taking the equipment off the boat and taking it to be dipped and boiled without all that labor. We circulated Rydlyme through each system for 4 hours each. The flow rate of Rydlyme through each system was vastly better at the end of the 4 hours compared to the beginning.

Works great! Flushed for 2-4hours a motor. Before and after of my block sensor. Going to start using periodically as preventative maintenance

Product is great. I used it last year for my older Volvo Penta and it worked like a charm. But it is expensive, you pay a high shipping fee on top of that, and then receive it badly packaged. 4 full gallon jugs freely tumbling in a large box, which damaged one of the jugs and spilled the (by definition) foul smelling liquid. Not much was lost, but the box was soaked and I'm glad the package was left outdoors.

this is an amazing product it cleaned my outboards out of the residue from salt and scale.

The media could not be loaded. I used this on a 90 hp Yamaha 2 stroke and on my twin 200hp Yamahas and it works! Removed lots of deposits and helped resolve my overheating issues. I highly recommend this product to anyone having overheating or as a simple yearly maintenance to clean out the passages on their outboards. Follow instructions on label or view a few YouTube videos to get a better idea of how to use, I diluted mines 1 to 1 and it worked as advertised.

Worked great descaling my engine. My outboard was running a little hot, cycling this through for 3 hours diluted 1:1 with water really cleaned out the corrosion. I think the company videos showing people putting their hands in this stuff relaxed me too much. My hands were burning for a few hours afterward. Wear gloves, wear sealed goggles. I totally recommend this product, just be careful with it.

I have a 2009 200hp outboard, purchased new, and it has been used exclusively in salt water all this time. It gets flushed once at the end of the season. Flushing every time we used the boat wasn't an option. After 14 years of use, I noticed that it was running hot at lower RPM's, and replacing the impeller made zero difference. I tried products like saltaway with very little success.I purchased a case of Rydlyme and poured it along with 4 gallons of water into a large plastic tub under the engine. I took my small pool cover pump and set it in the tub, and attached it to the flush port. With the engine off, I let it run for four hours, and couldn't believe how dirty the Rydlyme mixture got.Bottom line - this made a huge difference and cured my temperature issue. Running engine temp at 1200 RPM was around 195-200 degrees prior to treatment, and now it's running at 150, like it used to when new.It would have been five stars if buying a case of the stuff wasn't so expensive.
