My Doberman does dock diving competitions & I needed to get the toy they use for a certain event so bought 2 of these to train him with. HE LOVED IT from the first time he saw it & got to use it. It's easy for him to grip when catching it in mid-air because it's not too big like some bumpers can be. And the colors are nice & bright & contrasting so easier to see for him.

I bought this for my dog to use in her dock diving lessons. She likes this toy. She has the option of grabbing one of the cloth strips, at either end of the retrieving toy, or she can grab it around the middle. I chose this toy, because I saw that others were using it for dock diving training. It’s a perfect choice.

Perfect for tossing long distances and very durable for the "chewers".Buy a new 1 every year since our dog dives every day for 6 months out of the year.

I participate in Dock Dogs and NADD, and got this as a practice bumper for EV and Air Retrieve since it is often the one used in competition. The bumper seems to be sturdy, but it is VERY hard. I'd much prefer something softer, similar to the material Dokkens are made of.
