My 50kg+ boy has a sore on his paw pad, that is stopping us walking (he has a limp&I'm also worried about getting it infected). He is bandaged&has a sock in the house, but going outside has been a nightmare. He was getting really down by not going for walks for 2 days. I measured his foot&he was optimistically a smidgen smaller than the largest XL boots. Didn't hold much hope, but was desperate. Arrived on next day delivery. I did a trial run in the garden,&after some exciting encouragement, he was walking on it...without a limp...just a dramatically flinging his foot out with every step!! We have been on a 10 minute walk with great success. He got used to it very quickly,&wasnt bothered by it considering. Found it better to velcro the top strap below the carpal pad (the boot fell off after a few steps when did it over that pad). Checked his foot after the walk&all ok.The sizing seems accurate i think. With such a big dog, nothing ever fits. Then those stupid inaccuate size charts suggest it will but still don't, so i am very pleased that this has been a winner so far.Happy boy, happy mommy!!

Our beagle managed to chew the cloth and nearly ruined the first shoe, but we'd ordered some soft gaffa tape (Brand: GaffitWhite Gaffer Tape - 48mm x 45m (3 Rolls) - Strong White Duct Tape Heavy Duty Adhesive Cloth Tape, Super Sticky And Waterproof Gaffa Tape) the same time of ordering these and together they worked very well, the shoes fit well with 2 velcro straps one just behind the foot pad and one slightly further up the leg so plenty of adjustment. I only gave 4 stars because the cloth was a weak point but that doesn't Make these a bad purchase, I would buy these again and I would reccomend these for your dogs feet. Reasonable price for a decent product

The boots are great, but not waterproof. I bought as my dog has had surgery on his paw and it needs to be kept dry. The fit is good, much better than the one hospital gave, however, his foot got wet and it wasn't even raining - just streets still wet. If you’re making a choice based on being waterproof, which is what I did, I would opt for the other ones which are breathable (same brand).

These are really good boots. The two straps mean that they stay on really well, as long as you make sure you tighten the lower strap well, just above the paw. You need to get the right size too, by measuring your dog's paw.My boy has needed them because DM has made him drag his paws. These boots stay on in spite of that.

Perfect for my lurcher's pawly foot... a bit longer than most, stay on well, but need checking if they get wet. Not completely waterproof, but then what is..!! Soft inside, but am using baby socks as liners and works well. Great value, would recommend.

Damaged paw necessitated boot... Ok. Works well.. Can turn and get lost if active dog!!!

Have used a lot of these boots on big dogs, these are the best I have found for quality/price balance. Well made considering price point, nice wide opening makes them much easier to get on than most others so suitable for dogs who resist! Velcro straps well placed and long enough (unllike some others). Recommended.
