Were you stoked when you got your PS Portal for $199? Me too. Then I tried hooking up 3 pairs of non Sony headphones. Wasn’t about to spend $200 on Sony headphones I don’t need and won’t wear. So I found an Anker Bluetooth transmitter. Thought cool, I trust Anker. Got mine, couldn’t connect, took a shot on this one after reading that I need to have a transmitter that can switch from receive to transmit.Look no further. I’ve been playing with my air pods and JBL’s since. This unit has the switch, syncs up easy and holds a charge a long time. Just get it. It’s perfect.

This has all the features I need for my older car that has no Bluetooth connection, and I had a lot of requirements.First of all, it plays while charging. For some reason unknown to me, many bluetooth recievers can't charge and play simultaneously. This one has a standard usb-c port so I can just plug it right into a car charger and not have to worry about running out of battery.Second, it has an auto-off function. Other adapters required me to hold the power button to turn it off every time I left the car, or else it would just stay on until it died.Lastly (and most important to me), it supports high quality HD audio. I don't know why it's so hard to find a Bluetooth reciever that supports AptX HD Audio, but the difference is night and day. A typical Bluetooth 5.3 receiver sounds like FM radio, but with AptX it's CD quality audio. And this one definitely has HD audio quality.Battery life is sufficient for my commute for a couple weeks, so probably 10 hours total. But since it can play while charging, battery life is not an issue for me.My only issue is that the audio cable is about 2 inches long and permanently attached, but my car's aux port is way under the dashboard. I would have preferred that they included a 3.5mm-to-3.5mm adapter, but luckily I have an extension cable.

Only picked up half the sound when in receiver mode. Tried to connect me tablet to be able to use with YouTube videos for singing. Only got the music and background vocals. Even tried the regular videos and the same thing. Tried on more than one device. Both the same.

Used the item a few times paired well to my AirPods but everytime I turn it off and back on I have to put in my AirPods they pair then it’s just static and sounds low quality also light and cheap feel too it but other than that they work fine

Much better than the last BT adapter I bought. It lowered the volume level below the phone level compared to using an auxiliary cord.This has the same volume level and has great sound quality.Built well, solid case but cord and jack plug could be a little heavier but overall great quality with a type C charging port

I like the appearance and that it came with a dual-prong airplane adapter. I needed one with a male connector so that I don't need to worry about always needing a separate connector. The unit seems to work well in receive (RX) mode but it did not work well in transmit (TX) mode. With some items it worked okay, with others it would connect but would often sound garbled, or provide sound for a brief moment before going quiet despite still being connected, and with some devices it would not connect at all even though those devices work fine with my other transmitter unit. I was going to return it but not really worth the hassle so I will probably just keep it to use as a receive-only unit.I did reach out to their tech support and they did reply, but their suggestion was to order a new one and they'd somehow provide a refund. Better to just return it to Amazon.
