Cute.
Super cute. A lot smaller than I thought it was going to be. I did read the measurements and I tried to anticipate that. But, I still like it nonetheless. I mostly got it for the lid and not the jar. But overall it's super cute. Hopefully someday I'll have something to actually use the lid and jar together for.

Neat little terrarium!
This terrarium is small but well thought out. I really love the vent holes; they are just the right size to allow some fresh air in and a bit of moisture to escape, while keeping the majority of the moisture in for the benefit of the plants. We are experimenting with the right amount of moisture in this new little set-up, and using a piece of clear tape to cover a few of the holes to keep more moisture in. Clear tape does the job nicely but is barely visible. And, if the plants start to go downhill due to too much moisture, we can peel the clear tape off for more ventilation. The "drip lid" is a neat idea and it does work to a degree but it's not perfect. And of course the side of the terrarium will be covered in moisture after spritzing with water, but still, the drip lid feature does help recycle the moisture and helps keep it off the container's sides for a generally clearer view. I also like that the lid sits in place nicely but can be easily lifted off the jar without disturbing the plants and soil inside.Do keep in mind this terrarium is rather small; you'll need to limit it to a small plant or maybe two, and not include a lot of decorations or knick-knacks. We used a layer of pretty gravel and some pretty rocks to dress it up and add color, and have included zero knick-knacks in order to give the little plant inside as much room to grow as possible. Overall, this terrarium is well thought out, nicely crafted and great looking. It's small, so it's great for beginners or anyone who doesn't have space or doesn't want the upkeep of a larger terrarium.

Vented Terrarium
This terrarium is interesting in that it's vented for air flow. It allows you to increase the humidity for your plant, but isn't sealed so you do need to maintain the terrarium and watch the moisture levels versus a sealed (or nearly sealed) terrarium. It's great to highlight a single plant like a jewel orchid.

Thoughtfully made! Strong Borosilicate glass. Recommend!!
To be honest I wasn’t sure if this would even make it to me in one piece because it looks so beautiful and fragile. However, I was super pleased when the box arrived and it was packed in it’s own specially formed packaging material, snug and secure. No wiggling around to give it any opportunity to break. AND this little terrarium is made of borosilicate glass so I‘m not worried about every little bump breaking it like some other terrariums we’ve had. It is a decent size, 4.7” x7” but it does say it is for MICRO ecosystems so I am only imagining something like some pretty mosses or maybe tiny succulents in here. I am very happy with the special “drip” lid and having the thoughtfully placed air exchange holes because we have tried completely closed systems and they didn’t work so well for us. No more looking through wet glass I hope. My son is in college and he has several larger terrariums in his room at home. I think this will be a wonderful gift for him to put together and have a little bit of home while away at school. I see that this has already addressed things we had issues with in other terrariums so I am excited to see how we do with it!

Great little Terrarium
My son had a terrarium for years that he made in elementary school. It was in a cheap looking snack storage jar. Sadly, it dried out and died when it was inadvertently placed in a west-facing window during a move. He's missed it ever since. When I saw this Terrarium, I was delighted because I've wanted to get him a new one but I wanted something nice looking because he's an adult with nice things now. I really like the high quality thin borosilicate glass that it's made of. The design that allows condensation to flow down from the middle of the lid should keep the sides clean and free of murkiness, as will the small airflow holes in the upper sides. This comes well packaged in styrofoam so it was (happily) unbroken. I'm looking forward to choosing plants and soil and setting it up with my son.

Cute and compact terrarium for succulent
This small glass terrarium is perfect for displaying succulents. It has a simple yet elegant design that looks great on my desk. It comes with a lid, creating a self-sustaining ecosystem for the plant. The size is perfect for small spaces, and the glass is thick and clear. A wonderful piece for anyone wanting to add some greenery to their home without much upkeep.
