Not only is it a torch, with two brightnesses, but also a multi functional floodlight, with a range of 5 - 100% white light, 100% red light which at the press of a button, changes to a flashing, emergency light.The usb charging port has a rubber safety cover on one side with the press on/off switch on the opposite side.There are four battery indicator lights on the back. It was almost fully charged when it arrived, so didn’t take long before it was fully charged ready for use.This versatile torch light not only has a hanging hook, which is also a carabiner clip, strong magnetic strips, but can also be used as a free standing light. It is light enough to use as a hand held torch.Because of the compact size, it will be handy to use in those small hard to reach, dark spaces, and doesn’t take up too much storage space.It has a multitude of uses, not only as a work light for tradespeople, but a brilliant handy light for DIY, car maintenance and inspection, camping light, garden light, and emergency lighting in case of a power cut.The instructions are downloadable by scanning the QR code in the box. We have printed them off for reference.This is a great replacement for our old torch/work light and if this Hylite Work-Lite, lasts as long as our old torch, it is great value for money. This is a very compact and lightweight work light which belies the phenomenal light output this pocket size light produces.This is an excellent rechargeable work light, which operates on two built-in 18650 batteries, the lamp feels and looks very sturdy, there is a nice weight to this without being overly heavy. The black and yellow colour is both attractive and practical as the yellow makes this very easy to find and the rubberised black is very durable. The multipurpose base/stand is cleverly designed and allows multiple poisoning options. The stand has an integrated hanging hook and a screw mount for a tripod. There are also built-in magnets in the base allowing the light to be secured to a metal frame such as a girder or metal cabinet. The base can also be used to position and angle the light on a level surface.In terms of light output this lamp is quite amazing – 1,100 lumens on full power this lamp lights up a small room with ease. Easily scroll through 3 brightness setting and on the lowest setting the built-in rechargeable battery has a stated runtime of 7.5 hours – impressive. There are two additional modes the main front light can be set as static red or flashing red which could be extremely useful in a breakdown or emergency situation. A small but very powerful torch is fitted to the top front panel and gives a very nice directional beam of light.As is so often the case all functions are controlled by a single on/off mode button, personally I find this type of setup annoying and awkward I wish they would use separate on/off and mode buttons that would be so much more convenient in use.This is not cheap; however, this is an excellent work light that very easily fits into the side pocket of most tool bags. The build quality is impressive and feels very durable it gives confidence that this is built to last and should withstand a knock or two.Recommended an easy 5 stars.
