My husband is a mechanic and comes home dirty. This soap not only smelled wonderful, it didn't irritate his skin like other soaps that left him feeling dry and itchy. Plus it left his greasy hands a lot cleaner as well.

Gather around because it’s story time....So I bought this product to hopefully clear up some marks on my face and body. I was so excited about the reviews that I bought the whole set.(soap, oil, face mask) I’ve been using this product for 3.5 weeks and I’ve seen only a slight improvement. It’s lighten my skin a little but the marks remained present. One day I was washing my face and some soap got into my eye...omg no exaggerating, it burned 10x worse than regular soap and I kind of blame the cloves. I could not get the soap out fast enough! I had to us a cold wet wash cloth because water alone was only spreading the soap everywhere. I dabbed and scooped until the burning disappeared! Worst thing ever! Now back to my review...... I do tend to have very dry skin around my nose and it has completely eliminated that problem for me but you still need to moisturize your face/body afterwards because it leaves a tight feeling. So I have to say that a good effect of this soap is helping with dry skin but if you’re looking to clear up your skin it will be a long road for you. Also, like I said it’s been 3.5 weeks and although it works up a good lather, the soap is all droopy and gooey and barely holding it’s shape any more. I had so much hope for this product but it’s not performing how I anticipated. I will give a two month update when I get to that point.

First things first. Before I ordered the soap, I took it upon myself to do a little research. I've read every single review and piece of information that I could find. About the company and the bar of soap. One thing's for sure, I paid close attention to the negative reviews. So, this review is strictly based on my experience. Okay, the soap cost $12.00. Therefore I did not want to be wasteful with it. When it arrived, I opened the box and I thought "Wow" this is a very large bar of soap! One lady said that she sliced her bar into three equal sized blocks. That was an awesome idea! So much so that once I did that, the blocks were still fairly thick! After staring at them for a few minutes, I sliced each one of those through the side. The same way you would slice a loaf of bread. Now, this gave me "Six" nicely sized and easy to handle bars of soap! I put the other "5" back in the box and put it away. The scent was different because I've never smelled a bar of soap with these ingredients. But okay, this is what Tumeric and Clove smells like together. Fine. It was said that the cloves would far off the bar and clog the drain. To avoid this, I'd just remove the clove before it fell off the bar! The next complaint was that the bar became smushy. After I was done with the bar, I stored it in a nice, neat covered soap dish! Therefore, mine never got smushy! I used my first bar twice a day, making sure it was dry and the soap dish was dry before putting the cover on it! After using it twice a day for 7 days, my skin was truly beginning to brighten up! My husband noticed first! I needed something to help dry up my pimples on my face. Within a couple of days, the soap did just that! I was amazed! Then I began to notice the dark spots it had here and there lighten up! And during this time, my skin never felt overly dry. Just nice and soft. One lady said consistancy is the key. She was absolutely right! After each use, because I'm African-American I like to use a little Ambi before I go outside during the day and before I go to bed. I got my bar one week before Christmas. Today is 1-15-2021, i just finished my first bar!!! Tonight I pulled out another slice. I still have "4" slices left! My experience with this soap has been nothing short of amazing! Care for your bar and consistancy is the key!!! Thank you!

I purchased 2 of the turmeric clove soap. The first one I ordered lasted about a month. Not only did it NOT have whole cloves in it like the product pictures and the pictures from the reviews, but it also did not do anything for my face like the other reviews show. Cloves and turmeric have AMAZING benefits, so I should've noticed less whiteheads and acne plus a reduction in dark spots, even over a month span, which I did not. I ordered it again, thinking I got a bad product and the same thing ... no whole cloves. I sent the company a message on Amazon and they never responded so now I am going to the reviews and warning others NOT to purchase this particular product because of false advertisement. I don't know if it's because of the economy or what, but they must have changed their formula and how they make it because my soap does not look like the ones in the pictures from the reviews and it leaves my face dry. The scent also isn't as strong as the other reviews stated, so I know they changed the product. Unless they start making it like they used to, I would stay away from this product and order from another company.
