Beware: Some countries may not allow it in either a checked or carry-on bag
I bought the device specifically for a trip to New Zealand. Unfortunately, they confiscated it during an airport security check-in because it did not have a switch to put it in "airplane" mode. I was told that other countries also have the same policy. In New Zealand, it is also not allowed in checked bags.It worked well for the short time I had it, and I would recommend it if it isn't a problem with the country you are visiting.

I've been using this hair straightener for days and my experience has been very positive. It heats up quickly (in less than 30 seconds), which is ideal when you're in a hurry. The titanium plates glide smoothly through your hair, preventing tugging and noticeably reducing frizz.

Doesn’t work
Worked one time. No longer holds a charge, won’t worked plugged in so it doesn’t work at all

Too bad the buttons are under your hand
This is pretty heavy for travel, plus the buttons are under your hand so it turns off while in use because your hand presses the buttons. I tried adjusting how I hold it but nope, the buttons still get pressed by accident. I will be returning this item.
