Install about 15 minutes! Works flawlessly! Game changer for me on these hot days!

Super easy to install on my 2014 jeep wrangler jk. It literally took 10 minutes to install.

Install took about 30 minutes, most of that was cursing trying to get y cable plugged into the module on the column. The install is easy. Pay attention to the 3 screws the video shows, you will need a long shank t15 to get to the one by the ignition. After the screws were out, everything popped off just the video showed. The instructions that are included via QR code are step by step on programming, and it took me about 30 seconds to finish the programming. For the price, this is well worth it.

Easy to install and setup Works great

This is an excellent little remote start. It installed in seconds, was super easy, and very cheap. Great option for someone who does not want to pay an arm and a leg for a professionally installed system. It is plug-and-play for anyone with an Automatic transmission and no intent to use a long-range fob.As for me, I have a manual/standard transmission on my Jeep JK. This product says it "does not work" with standard transmissions, but that is because the clutch is required to be pressed in to start the car. You can avoid this by placing the vehicle into 4WD-LOW, which will bypass the clutch. While I chose to do this, DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. It is a MAJOR liability to run an autostart if the car is in gear, as the vehicle will start driving when started. I take zero responsibility for providing this information.As expected, the OEM fob works just fine, but using it all the time will kill your fob battery and its range is laughable. So, I also ordered the Fortin RFK912 remote from Ebay, but it should also work with the Fortin RFK942 fobs as well. It depends if you want long-range lock/unlock features on the fob instead of just the autostart button. I ran the wire up through the trim and placed the antenna on my windshield behind the rear-view mirror. Works perfectly from inside the house.Definitely recommended!!

Installed this on my 2017 JKU on Christmas of 2024, it’s worked amazing since then. It was a little challenge to get the steering wheel cover off my vehicle, but the installation of the device setup was too easy. I used this with an aftermarket key fob so pressing Lock three times starts it up and turns it off no issue. The distance isn’t the best, but perhaps there’s something I can wire up in the future. I have about 500 feet distance. I would recommend this to anyone, even a first time car buyer could install.

So i put this on a 2017 Wrangler JKU Sport. The unit, so far works fine (1 days worth). The install, well, that's another story. Really the biggest issue is removing the bottom plastic steering wheel shroud. I watched the video, and others, on Youtube. But 2 issues, unless you have tiny hands, you cannot unplug the harness from the ignition by simply pulling the plastic shroud down. It has to come off! Which brings me to 2nd issue; it is a SOB (impossible in my case) to remove the way they show in the video. So,I looked up the cost of a replacement shroud, and ordered just the bottom part($20 including shipping), and then simply just broke off the bottom shroud. From there, piece of cake! I plan on leaving bottom shroud off for awhile, until I'm sure remote starter continues to work, don't want to break off a 2nd one, lol.

The media could not be loaded. So it freaking works and I installed it all by myself! I have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler(Very proud/ very shocked I actually did it!) I have zero knowledge on Jeeps, etc. which may be why the installation took me probably and hour. I had a hard time removing the top piece of the steering wheel and then had hard time putting the plug in. But everything else was cake! It took like 3 seconds for it to program. And now I have an automatic start.Tips:- You’ll need a T20 to unscrew the steering wheel- I used the pry tool to help me pull off the top like he shows in the video.- Use a head lamp or another light so you can see inside the steering wheel.-And I literally have no tips on how to plug that little cord in to the back of the starter under the wheel (I have little hands and it probably took me a solid 30 minutes) but don’t give up!Once you get past those to stubborn parts the rest is easy (which is probably why it says a 15 minute install lol)Idk if this helps, I’m just amazed I actually did it and wanted to share how impressed I am with this product! (Even tho the installation took me longer than expected lol)
