Surprisingly fun to build.
When I found this I bought it as a gamble. I was putting on a 6mm wargame of the Siege of Osaka and needed a detailed model of the castle. To my surprise, this is pretty close to 1/285 scaled. It goes together very well, though I am using milliput to fill what few gaps are there. Otherwise, it is very detailed, the stones on the foundation are engraved as are all of the details on the walls. If you are planning to paint it, don't go too thick as the details are sort of shallow. It works great for what I'm using it for and looks awesome to boot.
