Q: Is the top self-healing?

No, it is a laminate. I have a couple self-healing mats and just use one of those when cutting. This table is awesome and my only regret is that I waited so long before ordering.

Q: Is the height adjustable

No it is not adjustable. My wife ordered the table and did not check the height versus the table she was using which was an old dining table. This table is about 5 inches taller so now she is going to have to buy a stool so that she can work at it. She can not stand for long periods of time. I wish she would have checked the height.

Q: What’s the top part material?

Laminated particle board. Mine was damaged in shipping but was not bad enough to mess with trying to return it.
