Rotten, the left ear bud was badly scratched and one if the amps was non functional, I tried to return and had to do some nonsense with UPS. Still awaiting refund.The item itself was quite impressive in reviews but I went for a new pair of liberty 4 NC instead, the case is much smaller and the buds to my eyes and feel are exactly the same but less of the failed refurbishment the amazon seller was peddling
