siwode The Walking Dead Michonne's Katana Sword, T10 Clay_Tempered Steel, Damascus Steel

this is a very well made sword, not a complete copy of Michonne's (white rayskin samegawa instead of black/ cotton tsuka-ito instead of leather / no Triquerta 'biohazard' on blade) but that does not matter. all hardware is solid, no rattle from blade during handling or from saya when sheathed. beautiful hamon, nice lines. feels good in the hand, decently balanced if not a 'touch' heavy feeling at the tsuka. have not tested blade, though if my other Siwode T10 clay-tempered blade is any indication of how this one will cut... should be no problems :)

Bought 2 of these, they look awesome and they are great quality. Not 100% authentic like the series but it looks just as nice in its own.

The media could not be loaded. I have spent a few hours researching and deliberating on what brand to go with, reading reviews, looking at websites.. this one wasn’t my first choice. ( sadly ) I went with a 40 inch from another company with high expectations. Package came, inspected it, was happy with it even though it definitely wasn’t clay tempered. It then bugged me I was pretty much lied to. Returned it, did more looking around and researching. Decided to go with this company. Definitely clay tempered and I like how the 30 inch handles. So… if you’re looking around, add to cart and pull the trigger. This is the Michone katana stop for you. Hope this helps anyone else spending time looking and looking like I did.

Hello I am a real person.TL;DR I’ve purchased this sword wanting a sword and I got this sword and it’s a really good sword. It’s really sharp and it makes me feel bad-ass and safe. 10/10This is the first sword I’ve purchased because I am 25 and still a Virgin so I said screw it and bought myself a sword because I must protect my virginity.I read all the seemingly genuine reviews, even the one about the mom buying it for her kid son thinking it was a toy but it ended up being a well crafted blade.I’ve scoured through endless reviews and forums before actually purchasing this because I do believe reviews are automated by bots and the like.Now that I have it, I am more than satisfied with the craftsmanship of this sharp steel blade.First off, if you’re looking for a zombie apocalypse house protector, this is it.It arrives sharp enough to entice committing tsujigiri yet I can even imagine that this can be honed into a finer razor still.With this blade I have already disposed of my enemies such as the watermelon shogunate, and the bundled matts ronin.Despite my amateur ways I’ve learned to let the blade “bite” and now I am capable of cutting the most gentle falling leaf cleanly in half with a properly guided stroke.What a grand time to fulfill my childhood desire of owning an actual katana.Woe to any thief that enters my home.For those who say that the katana is a terrible weapon to have during the zombie apocalypse due to it only being able to work for the first few slashes until it dulls: I say to you, what of using the weapon to stab?Check yourself before you Shrek yourself.I digress..Protect your loved ones with this actual sword.What’s not to love?Also, Siwode if you see this comment let me know if you want to send this fan a “sample” sword 😉

Extremely sharp hand honed blade edge.Honestly, I am still shocked. This katana is easy worth $400 to $500. I just ordered one more from Siwode. Beautiful work of art! I had opportunity to see and work with hundreds of swords, and this one is exceptional! (for the money) This is not your $1000 or $2000 Japanese katana, but For $120 there is NOTHING on Amazon or Ebay or anywhere else to compare! Blade is perfectly straight, everything is tight and nice, no rattling whatsoever. Pictures will tell anybody who has basic knowledge about swords everything! Last 3 pics. I cut several branches (2 3/4" live branch pictured) in my backyard. next I cut paper effortlessly, and last: NO NICKS OR ANY other sign on blade after cutting branches. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Naked blade is worth at least $250 in my opinion. Only complain blade is rattling in Saya (easy fix) and wrapping of Saya is not real leather (PU leather). But PU leather is used on majority Mercedes-Benz sedans. So....

Beautiful katana reproduction for price. Small touches such as bamboo pins in the tang grip are nice rather than shiny objects.EDGE at tip was damaged and rolled before shipping. The packing was robust and undamaged HEAR ME SIWODE? I will start videoing receiving deliveries again now for all shipments. I reshaped and sharpened it, but the finish will never be the same, that torques my nut.A lot of research convinced me T10 is the way to go if you ever might actually use it as a sword. Much less likely to break, which can kill you since there is so much kinetic energy at the business end generated by full speed swings. The broken piece can bounce back like a baseball and skewer your skull!
