Nice ferrules. Fits well and crimps into a solid piece. Fills like it won't come off after crimping.

the ferrule walls are a little thin but the do just fine. I accidentally cut two out of about thirty. The plastic sleeve on the bottom stay put really well, its just that they aren't soft or heat shrink or anything like that, they are really hard plastic. but that does help to cut them off if you don't want that sleeve so you can do a clean heat shrink over them.

I do car audio installs and I purchased this assortment and I am satisfied with the selection overall. it had every size I need for connecting small gauge power cable to speaker wire connections to the amplifier. I recommend this assortment for rare of use, assortment, and price!

Summary: Using this for the input/output cables on a Solar/PV charge controller. Previously, just tinning the wire to prevent fraying, but this is a better solution. Added the AIRIC ferrule connectors to the ends of the wire. The black/white controller shows the BEFORE tinned only wires.Pros: Good fit & finish; good assortment.Cons: None.Conclusion: At $21, rating this 5-stars.
