Shower Kit.
This worked great. I just needed to add a shower to my claw foot tub and it works great. It is not fancy but it gets the job done. There is only one negative point about this product that I did find. They send you 2 support rods, one for the vertical shower riser and one for the shower ring. One is very short and the other one is long. Where the placement of my tub was in relation to the wall, the short rod was to short for either wall or ceiling. So I had to get a piece of all thread for the shower ring. If they had threaded both ends of the long rod, I could have cut it to fit the wall and ceiling. Other than that one point everything worked out great.

See Update!!! Light rod, questionable brass / chrome metal faucet. Check rod dimensions if it fits your needs. It's a bit small.
After 2.5 years of use update: All is well. Just now replaced the flat faucet washers because of dripping on the hot side. Replacement washers were easily found at Ace Hardware (1/4" small flat faucet washers 1/2" O.D.) Handle flaps still at 12 o'clock on the original unit and working out fine. Saving the replacement for later... After 3 months of use update: I highly recommend the seller "Next Day MRO." After 3 months, the hot side of the faucet no longer stays at the desired setting. It will rotate on it's own and work it's way to full blast of hot water. To work around this issue, I positioned both handle flaps at the 12 o'clock position, that way the hot can only move less than a quarter turn. I also lowered the hot water heater setting to prevent from getting scalded. The seller, Next Day MRO, is sending a replacement. The curtain rod and shower riser are holding up fine. Also, 3 regular size curtains work better than 2. Original review: The only real problem that I had with this unit was the shower riser was 8 inches too long for my very low ceiling height. The seller, Next Day MRO, was very prompt in answering emailed questions and offered suggestions. Instead of purchasing a shorter Barclay shower riser, I was successful in cutting the top shower riser tube with a pipe cutter purchased from Ace Hardware and re-threading the tube with an inexpensive 3/8 inch pipe die tool from Harbor Freight. After reading all of the good and bad reviews before purchasing this, I knew the precautions to be aware of during installation were: (1) stripping threads, (2) leaks, and (3) flaking off chrome. The way that I addressed #1 was to make sure the parts turned freely together while tightening and not to over tighten. For #2, adding a little more of the provided Teflon pipe tape fixed the leaks. And for #3, protecting the chrome from any tool damage by using a piece leather between the tool and chrome part prevented any reason for the chrome to flake off. So far, the shower has been working fine for me and my large family's needs for over 2 weeks. I told the family to never hang anything on the curtain rod because is not designed to hold any other weight besides the two 72" curtains. If I was to purchase this again, I would have looked for the longer 52" curtain rod to fit the 52" inner diameter tub better. There is one on Amazon but costs a little more. I'll see if I could extend this one by adding more aluminum tubing later. Otherwise, this shower kit was a great deal and I'm happy with my purchase.

Was easy to put in (a freind did it for me)
Ok, I ordered this in late November, I believe. Was told when to expect it, it came a week early! YAY!!! I held off my review until I could get it hooked up. I have to say for the price, I think its worth the money. I have showered, my 20 yr old son has showered and our 24 yr old roommate has showered. Was easy to put in (a freind did it for me). It looks good, I have no complaints. I DO have to say tho, not a complaint, just an observation, and I accept my part in it. The round hanging shower curtain rod is a bit flimsy. I have 2 shower curtain and 2 liners on it, so I expect it to be a bit 'shaky' I think If I can find 2 more of the pieces that mount to the wall, it will be perfect.. I say GREAT value for the money, if you are looking for a kit to get you a shower, this one fits the bill.... Excuse the mess, I have been totally redoing my bathroom :)

Antique cast iron tub fixtures
Finding fixtures for my very old cast iron tub wasn't easy. We have the faucet attached, it looks nice and functions as expected. The shower pieces are taking a bit longer as our tub isn't set as most tubs in the room. I fully expect that part to work as well as the faucet.

Diverter error and big leaks
Wasted time and money on this. Seemed easy enough, so I installed it myself and had terrible leaks. I thought I did something wrong so I hired a professional installation and still, terrible leaks. He said I did nothing wrong when I did it, and the diverter is simply cheaply made or has a manufacturing error. There is no leaking when the diverter is set to tub faucet, but once you switch to the shower diverter it forces it back through causing a leak around both water line connections as you can see if you look closely at the picture. I’m hoping this was simply a manufacturing error and not just a garbage product. The rest of the product looks nice and had no issues.

Sturdy
This was a much sturdier replacement for my existing set-up that had started to leak. It had an additional support for the curtain rail that made a big difference

Low cost, easy install, but low quality
For the money I would say it is a good buy. People always buy the cheapest product and then complain about the quality. It does convert a clawfoot tub into a shower, it does provide a rod for the curtain. Having said that, I will probably replace at some point with a higher priced and quality set. Couple of problems I experienced; the rod for the wall support was too short because my tub is 12" away from the wall on the faucet end so I bought a threaded rod. Also be sure that your tub is completely verticle on the faucet end, my tub sloped out slightly at the top which caused the riser bar to be far from straight up and down. I was able to get it level enough when the wall support rod is installed but the riser tube has a pretty good bow to it and I had to get it just right to keep a good seal where it hooks to the faucet. Seems to be working fine after a week, keeping my fingers crossed that I get a decent amount of use from it.

Quality
The quality on the shower head is a little rough it’s feels cheap. With that being said installation is easy and is a great solution for making a claw tub a shower. I would say this item would be perfect but the quality on parts is cheap. Everything is provided that you need including Teflon tape for installation.Overall, great product to get you by I am curious to see how long this product last without rust. Again great product for the purpose and price the finish could be better.
