Ejecting casings, realistic styling, and plenty of extra ammo
This gun is a fun fidgety toy that looks great in desert tan and black. The bullets have 2 parts: An orange tip the pushes into a golden plastic casing. The casing has a spring inside it that actually propels the orange tip. So loading up the bullets requires first preparing each bullet, then pushing each assembled bullet into the magazine. Thankfully the set includes quite a few orange tips and casings. The tips only fire as far as those small springs (about 10mm?) will propel the tips. The other thing to note is that the case ejection is offset from the actual firing. So when you first load the magazine and fire, tip 1 is shot out and casing 1 is stored in the gun. Then when you fire tip 2, casing 1 is ejected, and so on. You’ll only notice this on the first and last bullets in the magazine. I appreciate that the slide locks in the open position once the magazine is empty.Where other toy guns try to replicate real-world markings on the gun, this one says “JKL TOYS GUN, MADE IN CHINA” in large letters along the side of the gun. The required orange tip is metallic in finish, runs along the entire exposed barrel and looks great. Recommended for older kids or as an aide to teach gun safety.

SUPER realistic and functions exactly like the real thing.
This think is amazing. I was shocked at how REAL it is. I have the real thing and if it wasn't for the weight being off, I could easily mistake this for a real gun.The good;1. VERY realistic - fits in your hand and points EXACTLY like the real thing2. Functions and cycles just like a real semi-auto3. The magazine functions just like a real magazine - inserts, drops free and holds open when empty.4. It loads just like the real one - but the magazine has a slide on the side, making it easier on the fingers5. It comes with 18 cases and about 40 bullets.6. It comes with two magazines for reloading drills. Each mag holds 9 rounds.7, Trigger pull is very easy - no finger fatigue here. Even a small kid (SUPERVISED!!) could use this. The bad;1. It LOOKS just like the real thing. DO NOT use this outside. You are likely to get shot by an LEO.2. Listed as being for 14+ but to be honest, the realism suggests the "kid" should be MUCH older - maybe even an adult.3. When dropping the slide on a new round, it tends to fire automatically4. It can "stovepipe" just like a real gun - real pain to clear a jam in this thing5. The "bullets" are small and easily lost. They also ricochet like nobody's business.6. The cases are essentially a "snap cap" with a flimsy spring inside that propels the projectile down the barrel. Not sure how long they will last, but I suspect not very long. The realism of this product is truly shocking. It is totally like having the real gun in your hand, just a lot lighter and without the big bang of gunpowder. Assuming that you don't take it outside or point it at anybody, causing you to get shot in real life, this is a really cool product.I could even see it being used as a training prop for kids to learn the fundamentals of how a semi-auto works, with adult supervision. I would never give or loan this to any kid who was not SUPER-responsible. It's just too realistic. But if you have a kid who is responsible and respectful of firearms naturally, this would be a great indoor fun toy to practice knocking cans off a table or shooting at small targets in the living room. It is a bit expensive, but if you want your kid to learn the basics, while seeing it function in his/her hand, this is a great value.

Super neat model but bullets jam frequently.
This is a great idea and looks very realistic. My kids thought it was real at first and I was immediately yelled at by them for having my finger on the trigger! 😂BECAUSE it is so realistic, I don’t know how comfortable I’d be letting my children play cops and robbers with it, but it is great for teaching gun safety, as well as practicing properly handling a firearm, loading, firing, etc.It is great fun to fire, and I’ve had many requests from my children to use it.I knocked off a couple of stars because it jams frequently. Sometimes more than one casing will eject. Sometimes it won’t fire at all. If those problems were taken care of, this would be a superb toy.

Very satisfying to use and hold.
The functionality of the gun makes it fun to use and satisfying. It has a good look to it. It is also full size and fits in an adult hand easily. I would say it has good value for the money. It jams sometimes on the last bullet, but it can be fun to clear. The bullets themselves are really easy to lose track of and the projectile is very tedious to put in each bullet shell. They do shoot with a lot of force and not very straight, so they can hurt to shoot at people and cant really be used for target practice, so I would rather they only included fake bullets.
