5 Star Marine Hydraulic Cap
Not sure if I had all the O-rings that my unit required as there were two Teflon rings in my power trim and the kit contained only one but the kit seemed to be very good quality and after replacing top cap with brass cap 5 Star Marine sold me,the power trim performs flawlessly!!Watched a ton of You-Tube videos and got rebuild accomplished,now tackling chore of complete paint job of entire motor,cover,transom bracket,etc.

This kit will save you some $$$$
Everything you need to rebuild you trim and tilt. I used one for a 40HP evinrude made in the 90s and still running strong. In my case the top cylinder seal starting leaking hydraulic oil but I used all the o-rings in the kit and did a full rebuild. Take your time and work in a clean area in case you get clumsy and drop one of the 3/16”check balls. A magnet is a great retrieval tool.

Quick delivery, rings fit correctly, but missing one white split scraper ring
All good except missing one of the two white plastic scraper rings for the plunger on my 40 HP trim lift unit. I had to reuse one of the old scraper rings. Everything else fit and unit works! Instructions would have helped but YouTube saved the day.

Almost the best
The inner seal for the cap didn't do the trick. All the other seals including the redesigned plunger seals were great. I bought an OEM inner seal and it fit way better and made a seal where's the other one did not.When I removed the inner seal from this kit there were no nicks or dirt but it just didn't seal to the shaft. Put the OEM in and it fit like a glove. I'd advise buying this kit and an OEM inner seal for the perfect kit.

This was a great kit to rebuild my trim motor. The Rubber O rings seem of higher quality. I will buy it again if the need arises

Awesome trim tilt set..
This set is perfect, it had everything I needed to rebuild my trim tilt..all of the o rings fit right, and when I put my trim tilt back in, it worked perfectly..I would definitely recommend this product..
