GENIUS! Hands-down the best smoothie recipe book!
I have been looking for a smoothie recipe book for a while and this one is IT!This book has GREAT, simple, recipes, what it does NOT have is a bunch of shilling for the author's blog or unnecessary biographical details about the author or extraneous information about the ingredients or the "smoothie lifestyle." A few smoothies have some unusual ingredients, but nothing you have to trek to the jungles of South America to find. There are just enough unusual recipes to switch things up every once in a while and enough recipes for which you can find ingredients in the winter such that the book is very useful.In essence, it has lots of tasty, straightforward recipes, attractive illustrations, good tips, and pertinent nutrition information included. So far, I've made about 9 of these (had the book about 4 days!) and liked ALL 9!! The tomato basil smoothie is very refreshing and a nice homemade substitute for V8. I was SHOCKED to enjoy the kale-banana smoothie. Previously, I have HATED kale, as in "why do people say mean things like 'here, try this kale'"-HATED. My husband, whose only plant consumption are starches, actually didn't mind the kale-banana smoothie; that's EPIC! The cauliflower-almond butter smoothie? GENIUS!I cannot say enough great things about this book. It was worth EVERY PENNY! My weight has yo-yo'ed for ten years and a couple years ago, I used smoothies as a way to finally lose a significant amount of weight, but I didn't use a recipe book, I just searched the internet (as many smoothie makers do) and fell into a less-than-appetizing rut of the same few combinations. This smoothie book has totally changed the smoothie game for me; I enjoy them again and more so than I ever did!

Loving this smoothie recipe book!!!
I recently purchased a Vitamix Blender, absolutely loving that, and I wanted to get a recipe book for making smoothies. After reading the reviews on this book I decided to purchase it. I just received it yesterday and I couldn’t put it down, I am so impressed with this book! The variety of recipes, the vibrant colored pages, the thick glossy pages, the quick and easy instructions, the size of the book….What’s not to love?? This book has it all!! I haven’t made any of the smoothies yet, however I can assure you I’ve already written a list of items I need to start making some of these smoothies and I’m headed to the grocery store!! I’m glad I made the choice to purchase this book, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good smoothies recipe book that has it all!!

Nice recipes but imperfect at times
I like a lot of the recipes but you'll have to tweak the mixes at times. A handful make smoothies that are too thick to my liking, but overall nice book and actually has pictures (unlike many).

Great variety, some ingredients are expensive or hard to find.
Most of the smoothies I have tried from this book taste good. I recommend it, it is a great way to add more fruit to your diet (and vegetables, but these are mostly fruit based).As with any recipe book, there have been a few smoothies I did not like, but most of them taste good to both me and my kids. There are many flavor combinations I would not have thought of but work well. The consistency of the smoothies is thin so they are easily drinkable (I have made smoothies before from other sources that were so thick they had to be eaten with a spoon). The book includes a great variety of smoothies, most with accessible ingredients but a few are very expensive in my area (e.g. dragonfruit, starfruit) or not available (e.g. guava nectar).

Purchased this for my son who recently moved into his own apartment. He has really enjoyed this book and makes smoothies for himself frequently.

Low quality smoothies
The ingredient list is simple but the smoothies taste "struggle bunish" you hafto just use it as a guide and add your own flavors and spices to get a good flavor

Just buy it!
I have tried several recipes since purchasing, and it's all heaven in a cup! You can always substitute ingredients that pertain to your diet or preferences. I like know and idea of the calories and fat intake. I personally have to watch my saturated fats and sugars (post surgery) but it's easy to get ingredients that work for you. No one says you have to use the exact same ingredients.So many ideas and all quick to make. A great purchase!

JUST BUY IT!!!
I have many smoothie books but this is by far one of the best! Call me simple and basic but I love photographs. The photographs are fabulous & the recipes/instructions so easy! I also love the fact that the nutritional facts are included. The book is filled with a huge variety of nutritious, yummy, and healthy smoothies. Just buy the book you will not be disappointed!
