Stock Size Pulley Belt, Fits All Aircooled VW 9.5 x 905, Compatible with Dune Buggy

My belt was 10 years old. Took out one washer and slapped this thing on there. Perfect.

I purchased this for my 1974 VW Beetle type 1. It’s identical to the belt I purchased before for a lot more money at my favorite auto supply store. The belt is perfect with all ribs in place and even. It fit perfectly and had no issues driving my Beetle this past month. The belt lays down flat on its side with no abnormal sections when I checked it when it arrived. The belt seems to be standard to Volkswagon air cooled engines. Excellent quality.

I don't drive the car as much anymore, but it's been nearly three years and I've never had any trouble with this belt.Original review:Easy replacement. Not sure why these are so hard to find. So far so good--check the date of this review. If it does anything stupid I'll come update this. I drive the car about 500 miles/week.

this was the replacement belt I needed, works great

Works but doesn't grip as hard as the ones with grooves. It's fine and works, I'm no machanic, but even when I put on an old belt with grooves it worked better. I have a vw dune buggy super beetle engine 1600cc stock. It fits fine, just not the best grip as I stated. That's really all there is to say.
