Q: Why is this $87.99 and only supports 60amps and doesn’t fit well, when you can get an authentic 80amp one for $50 off Tesla’s website?

Because, up until recently, the one from Tesla website costs $95

Actually Tesla recently announced a ccs to Tesla connector for South Korea. There is talk that it may come to the North American market at some point soon.

No. This will ONLY fit a J1776 EVSE equipment, so you can charge a Tesla vehicle. It cannot work in reverse. This is why I have not installed Tesla equipment.

No the Volt or Bolt etc has a J1772 connection for level2 charging. The only car that’s different is the Tesla that needs the adapter. Mark
