If you're either seeking a memoir or an informative book on angels, 'Angels in My Hair' will delight. Having read other books on angel communication, I did not expect this to be so well-written. It is composed of gorgeous prose and imagery, so much so, that I began to slow my reading to savor the passages.This is a life-story, a gentle walk on an old path through so many different circumstances: the ups and downs life brings. It eyewitness Irish history, through Lorna, who also has an added gift of speaking to angels. Through her eyes we're able to see our world anew. We're able to come to new understandings, new insights, about why/how things are.We will also come to know angels and their simplistic nature, guidance, and ability to speak to us, a gift we all have. I learned so much, simply through example, and it's carrying me. If you're seeking guidance to talk to angels, this truly is the one.Lorna's story is bittersweet, honest, and has stayed with me these weeks, as both guidance and comfort. If nothing else, this book is one of hope: it will make you feel hopeful--even if you thought you had a lot of hope, you'll have even more.(Teachers/librarians), I would use this book in both a memoir writing class and a book club, as it is rich in discussion. I found myself talking about it everywhere, with anyone I could. (Yes, even my angels.)Angel enthusiasts, it's authentic, as far as angels go, in that it is universal... (some 'angel' people try to make angels about a religion or put their own ideas/intuitions and claim it's angels, or especially in the US market, you'll read a lot of hub-bub that's just not true about angels, just to sell a book.) No, this is the real deal, an honest, gentle effort and giving.A true gift as far as books are concerned. If you are looking for a gentle book, for someone who loves or lived in Ireland in the 1950s (or even in the US), you'll enjoy the nostaliga here, to read of another's life. If you're thinking of a book for your grandmother/mother, yes, they'll love it.I'm truly grateful for reading this book. I don't need another angel book. (Anything else is imitation). I hope this helps with your decision. In short, this is not noise, but a gentle book in service to others.

Your should read this book first. Although she can not prove what happen to her. Her life seems true and real. With my experiences; Angels are real. She of course has had a lifetime of her life communicating with lots of Angels. It all seems very real. Everything she says seems real and helpful. I love reading her books.Unfortunately some of here books are getting really expensive so those that could be help can't afford the prices. Making lots of money is more important. The rich need to get richer.I am glad she lived a life of being poor so she knows these prices are harming people who need helpbut can't afford these books selling on Amazon. Because of this I can only give her 4 stars although the books are really 5 stars.Thank you for working with Angels

You will fall in love with Lorna Byrne when you read this first of her books. Very moving account of her life growing up poor and illiterate in Ireland while being taught by Angels. Lorna was considered retarded and would have wound up in a home if her parents had followed the norm. Thankfully, they did not put Lorna away and she was free to live her life interacting the angels around herself and everyone else, no matter what your belief system is (or isn't!) I highly recommend this book for anyone and everyone who wonders what else is going on in the Universe?!

Such a fun book, could hardly put it down. Lorna has a beautiful life story about how from a small child her angels were all around her helping her and communicating with her on how to walk the path of life. It made me want to try it out and as I did, I found that the angels really do help you in even small tasks.

Excellent book. I loved this book. Her story is jaw dropping inspiration. He life story is amazing. I couldn't put the book down. Very inspirational and spiritual. Everyone must read this. Thank you Lorna for sharing your spiritual life story.

I liked learning about Lorna' s early years. But her whole life has been very interesting. Such a shame that having Dyslexia made certain folks think she was intellectually challenged. My daughter has that too. But she was an A student all through school, and is such a hard worker. I enjoyed the descriptions of the angels that Lorna tells us about. There was nothing in this book I disliked. I know she's written other books, and I hope to read them all. I'd love to go to Ireland to meet her in person. I went there once & hated to leave. It felt like home. I know my Angel helps me. I'm very grateful to notice things that are done to help me. It's too bad people don't want to acknowledge their angels & thank them. Read this book, open your mind to the possibility of angels. The more that do, the better our world will be.
