Q: Can thos monitor actually do a 1ms response time with hdr on?

Technically yes, but the overdrive settings needed to achieve 1ms come with far too much artifact... You won't want to use it.

Q: Will this hit 120 hz 1440p with Xbox Series X? I’ve been seeing mixed answers.

I would stay away from this monitor and brand entirely. I bought the 27" version and it completely died in four months. Amazon were no help. Gigabyte wanted me to ship it to Korea. Stay away.

I use it for my Series X and I get 120hz. I’ve enjoyed my time with it!

VRR for sure. I think ALLM as well
